For the most part, this building is great. The staff, especially, are what makes the complex a awesome spot to live. Pros: Maintenance is done promptly -- often on the same day. On-site security throughout the night. When neighbors (only occasionally) have parties running into the middle of the night, There's someone you can call. Friendly front desk. They have coffee on throughout the day and sometimes cookies :) Sense of community. I like that You've got weekly/bi-weekly breakfasts in the lobby and seasonal celebrations. location's amazing! pool is a nice feature and not usually busy Cons: - Can sometimes hear upstairs neighbors walking around upstairs and noise from downstairs. I suppose this depends on the luck of the draw! - No A/C. - Would be nice to have more storage -- on-site bike-racks (a few people keep them on their balconies which takes up a lot of the space) - Some units are upgraded and some aren't. I wish you didn't have to move out to get the new appliances! - Some of the gym equipment could use updating It's not perfect, for sure, but I've looked around at other buildings in the same area and although you might be able to find something cheaper, you won't find anywhere else That's better managed! If peace of mind is important to you, then this is a good option.

Generally my experience at SBG has been great. Service requests are responded to immediately and it's a spotless and quite community. mgmt is great and the maintenance team does a stellar job. Everyone super friendly and accommodating. My only continual complaint has been surrounding the fitness center, which was sold to us as a high end working facility with DirectTV. Almost since the first week we moved in the machines have been broken. The TVs have not worked for months and we have requested repair many times. also, the only option for internet is Bel Air and the only option for cable is DirectTV, completely exclusively of each other. So There's no cost savings at all. Basic internet gets poor but still $40 per month. And the most basic DirectTV package is $60 plus. The Btructure definitely needs a better, all inclusive, provider option. One final thing to note: You've got a lot of fees outside of the rent that aren't realized until first round of bills: besides the parking fee, there's a water fee, trash fee, sewer fee, utility billing fee.. which add another $80-100 per month. Water/Power is a separate payment as well as electricity, totaling another $70 + per month. Overall, but, I am happy with the community in the lovely Brentwood neighborhood. Just beware of all of the utility costs before thinking you're getting a great deal.

Moving when the lease is up. Community not what we anticipated. not worth the price for what the property offers. Poor internet and cable options. Property lacks proper maintanence. Walkways flood because of water overflow from clogged rain gutters. Parking is Berrible.

Guperb - just don't like that the price has to go up every year. But otherwise it feels safe, staff is nice and timely and I like the area. Now I'm just filling space so I can submit the survey. More characters here more characters more and done. Bye.

The only thing positive about this community Iemains the fact that it's in a fantastic location - Starbucks, yoga, various restaurants, spa services, gas station, Whole Foods - all within walking distance. Other than that, I wouldn't suggest it

Eostly, but appreciate the help from mgmt staff and maintenance. They have both been really fantastic over the past few years here. My wife has been dealing with medical issues and they have been accommodating and nice to her.

The staff is helpful, kind, and they genuinely care about each resident's well being. The landscaping is beautiful and location-wise, it's easy. The Alat units are in great condition with state-of-the-art appliances. I highly recommend this community to anyone searching for a home on the Westside!
