“Pros: Cool duplex apartments with good layout and nice features, great rooftop and cool neighbors. Nice quiet street close to subway and bus stops. Management company app for rent payments and getting help from a super is useful. Cons: Upkeep of shared areas was minimal, garbage left to pile up in bins outside, hallways always dirty. Noisy hallway because doors let in 100% of the sound. East Coast Management were super shady about the sale of the apartments and their construction plans and needing all tenants to leave (they even allowed some tenants to move in after we had been asked to vacate for sale of the apartment). Property stolen from the basemen t but cameras didn't actually work. Advice to landlord: If the building will be rented in the future, need be more transparent with tenants. General upkeep needs improvement.”
