“Pros: The heating system is the best!! Sometimes, we turn it off even though its freezing outside because of how warm it gets Cons: No elevator :( Advice to landlord: Be more responsive”

“Pros: Back of the building, pretty quiet for the heights Cons: The neighbor upstairs kept flooding our apartment”

“Pros: Close to the hospital and train. Cons: For starters, this place is a cesspool. Maggots and flies everywhere. Any support from the landlord is non existent. The super is equally clueless and rude. This place is incredibly disappointing. When I moved in I noticed the cracks were not properly caulked and the windows had no screens. The landlord clearly doesn’t care about this place and he certainly doesn’t care about the people who live here. Advice to landlord: Get out of the business.”

“Pros: Clean, nice lobby areas, garbage area kept clean, really love our apt amenities and the tall ceilings and lots of windows Cons: We had terrible pest problems with flies and maggots.!! We are very clean people so this was not an us issue. We are on the first floor and the trash is kept ride outside our windows on both sides of our apartment. When we first moved in no matter how clean we were there were maggots crawling from cracks in the floor it was a literal nightmare and went on for months. Turns out they didn’t caulk the floor properly. I’m not sure how the fly infestation started but the landlord was completely unresponsive and dismissive. He for no reason randomly accused us of not paying rent when we called him one time to address the fly issues (it was 100% not true). We ended up paying for our own exterminator who came multiple times. Current super is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Our apartment has just had so many issues from the maggots to a ruined ceiling in our kitchen due to multiple water leaks from the apt upstairs that was never fixed. It’s overall not been worth it to live here and we are eager to leave once our lease is over. Advice to landlord: It’s a nice building in a nice neighborhood and if you want to risk it and take the chance that you might avoid some of these issues, sure go for it. But if you want to find an apartment you might like to live in long term just don’t do it. We’ve have way to many issues for only having been here a year.”

“Pros: Close to the train and spacious. Cons: Roaches! Not consistently having exterminator visit building routinely. Did not clean properly during COVID. Front Door has been broken most of 2020 and has yet to be fix appropriately which is a safety violation. Advice to landlord: Fix the damn door correctly before someone wonders in here and hurts someone.”
