“Pros: Low rent, proximity to grocery store, laundromat, dry cleaner, transportation Cons: Dilapidated building. Ceilings cave in. Water gushes down into your apartment from the floor above. Often very cold during the winter. The handy man is sloppy and leaves a mess when he leaves. Definitely below-average living conditions. Advice to landlord: Repair & replace all infrastructure. Roof, electrics, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and have everything done by professionals who will do an excellent job, not be unlicensed amateurs.”
