LUDLOW 161 REALTY ASSOCIATES · avg 4.0 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: Hallways and stairwells were moped and cleaned every couple of days, roof was sometimes dirty but that was tenants fault - it would get cleaned up every couple of days. Thin ceilings so you could definitely tell if your upstairs neighbor was being unreasonably loud. Great neighbors - not over friendly but willing to help a hand if needed. Packages never stolen. Cons: Management was sometimes slow to respond to requests - had difficulties getting a replacement appliance Advice to landlord: Maybe add some basic roof furniture”
— 161 LUDLOW STREET · Manhattan“Unit 3 Pros: Great location! Building is pretty clean (noting that there were rats plaguing the downstairs before they put in the trash chute) Pest control came regularly to check on the units. overall responsive managment. Cons: There was a ton of construction going on while I lived here and it was extremely loud all day. Not sure if that’s still the case but it was tough for WFH. The woman who moved into the first floor was always banging on the ceiling and screaming? The heat went off a couple times in the winter and the hot water.”
— 161 LUDLOW STREET · Manhattan“Unit 10 Pros: Location is amazing, management company is responsive to issues. Cons: Can be loud, trash can pile up/smell, not the most up to date building, small apartments. Advice to landlord: Updating some of the older units would go a long way.”
— 161 LUDLOW STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Building is conveniently located next to many hotspots in the LES/EV area. With easy access to the subway station, getting to Brooklyn is pretty easy. Landlord is a great person who’s always trying to keep the property properly maintained. Super is very responsive and will help you out with whatever you need help with. Cons: Unfortunately due to its location, the noise is quite substantial especially during the weekend. Beware, if you’re living on the first or second floor. Advice to landlord: Close down no fun for the love of god.”
