“Pros: Loved the layout of the studio (separate kitchen!) and landlord was always responsive when something went wrong Cons: Hallways weren't always clean, packages would often get stolen”
— 226 EAST 6 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 1A Pros: I liked the shower pressure and the sizes of the bedroom Cons: The management is very unresponsive, trash is just strewn about on the sidewalk, street noise is terrible.”
— 319 EAST 25 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 1B Pros: Near schools, buses, and trains Cons: Has severe trash problems, mice, frequent package theft, homeless people sleeping outside in warmer months, loud upstairs neighbors. Advice to landlord: Have super frequent the building more.”
— 319 EAST 25 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: fine location and pretty good rate. Cons: no amenities. have lived here for 2 years and had 1 mice problem during (lasted about 3 weeks and building management did little to resolve it) and have seen a few cockroaches. trash management is subpar and needs to be collected more often. packages get stolen frequently. the street can be loud if you have a street facing apartment.”
— 319 EAST 25 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 3A Pros: Walking commute to mid town. The set up is nice lets the front room bring all the light through the clear French doors Cons: Not the cleanest hallway and no amenities at all but the maintenance people arrive within the day and never had a problem with the heat/pests Advice to landlord: Do some updates to the kitchens or hallways”
— 319 EAST 25 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Nothing besides location Cons: Poor management Greedy landlord Doesnt care about tenants”
— 319 EAST 25 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: It is a place to live. Cons: No investment in improving the building to have longevity. Uneven stairs, roof and ceiling issues. Little regard for how this impacts tenants. Delays in making essential repairs.”
— 319 EAST 25 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The apartment is large with nice windows Ample storage Cons: My apartment had mice and cockroaches and many other bugs. The pest control from building management did not help the problem so I had to hire my own exterminator for 300$ to get rid of the mice. The "monthly pest control" does not actually happen. If you want them to spray your apartment you have to call them every month. They have almost no amenities (not even microwaves) but want to charge high prices for their apartments and are unwilling to negotiate when resigning. Over the 9 months I've lived here both of the sinks have broken, we had a week with no heat and no hot water, and multiple times the water has been completely shut off without warning We had a pipe burst and water was flowing down the stairs and all the alarms were going off so I called the emergency number and they said it wasn't an emergency and I had to sit on hold with the main office. Advice to landlord: Hire better pest control”
— 319 EAST 25 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Nothing good to say. Cons: Mice, smell, dirtiness, package keep getting stolen.”
— 319 EAST 25 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: I was garden facing- so it was super quiet. It was a great layout for one person. Cons: I was on a 5th floor walk up- miserable. Also the police next door weren’t comforting. Advice to landlord: Get the police to stop cat calling and smoking..”
