“Pros: The super cares deeply about the building and keeps it immaculately clean, and very responsive Cons: The units are small and quirky shaped given pre war, and it’s very old school with quarters for laundry and paper checks for rent”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Just about everything - they have consistently improved the building in my years there. A few years ago we got new elevators, and they're currently repainting / refinishing all the hallways. Building staff is so kind, friendly, and helpful. The block is incredibly quiet and safe. Roof deck is lovely. 24 hour doormen. Cons: Some younger tenants can occasionally be quite loud in the hallways / on the roof deck. Can be a challenge to snag open washers/dryers in the laundry room since there are only 3 dryers and some washers don't always work.”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: 24 hours concierge 2 new elevators (2023 replacement) Cons: Heating is not very good Apartments a bit outdated”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Doormen are pretty nice Cons: Roaches Mold growth in shower due to poor ventilation Water temperature fluctuates greatly, either burning hot or freezing Restroom vent is connected to the neighbor's so all their odor and noise will pass over Windows leak wind and get stuck whenever left open due to thermal expansion Fridge has a high pitched shrill noise that disrupts sleep Not very clean upon move in Bugs coming up from drain Toilet leaks water Maintenance's body odor will stay in your apartment and be impossible to get rid of Advice to landlord: It would be nice if issues could be addressed, but this is really sad for an apartment of this cost”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Good building and staff Cons: Small units water temperature varies”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Responsive super, nice staff, clean building, recently installed new elevators Cons: Coin laundry is annoying, but otherwise not many cons”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: This was my first apartment building in NYC after I graduated from college, but it was head-and-shoulders above the other apartments my friends were living in at the time. The staff is incredibly kind, and it's also one of the most beautiful blocks on the UWS. Cons: Not much - the water temperature in the shower is a bit finicky, but that's it.”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: - Well maintained - Nice building staff - Newly replaced elevators - Good A/C - Good heat - No pest problems - Nice roof deck - Quiet neighborhood. Hot water is included, heat is not. Cons: - Poor bathroom ventilation - Bad water pressure - Coin operated laundry - The big windows don't open easily”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Laundry, roof access, and responsive super. Cons: Heat isn't too good.”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Kind doorman and reception. Public rooftop access. Great location. Good mail/package system. Very helpful on move-in. Laundry in basement. Cons: Laundry requires coins. Garbage builds in garbage chute. Elevators are CRAZY slow. Cleaning staff hold them at inconvenient times so only one is functional. Management only reachable via email and response time is not great. Advice to landlord: More communicative and increased building management efficiency.”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 1G Pros: Management responds to maintenance requests immediately. The building feels pretty safe with the doorman. There’s other great amenities, such as laundry in the building and a shared roof with great views. The location is ideal with nearby parks, restaurants, pharmacies, public transportation, etc. Cons: I haven’t had any major issues while living here. At times though some neighbors were really loud when they had company over so I could hear them in my apartment. This only happened a handful of times. Another con is how expensive the rent has resumed to be.”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 3H Pros: Nice views from rooftop, very clean, George (the super) was great, nice doormen, no issues with apartment. Cons: The area was kind of dead for young people. Not the warmest neighbors. Very tiny studio with little sunlight for but I guess it was affordable for the location and "luxury" of the building. Laundry room was eh Advice to landlord: Honestly, it is what it is”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 4N Pros: - rooftop - well-kept entrance & halls - responsive super to maintenance issues Cons: - small living space + kitchen - bathroom had mold Advice to landlord: Would like to be able to ventilate the bathrooms better”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: No pests, management was responsive and friendly Cons: A couple of times over the summer the water was turned off but that is fairly standard and we were given fair notice.”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Very well-maintained and very clean building. Staff were all friendly and responsive. If I could afford to move back, I definitely would. Cons: One neighboring apartment was very loud. The rent increase back to pre-pandemic rates was absurd, especially given the size of the unit.”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Amazing location, super responsive and kind management. Any issues addressed within the next day. The whole staff is great Cons: Raised my rent over $600 and I was forced to move. Advice to landlord: Don’t be so greedy with rent lol”
— 302 WEST 92 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Management attends to any problems very quickly. Same or next day upon request. Cons: Rent too high. Advice to landlord: Rent is too high for an extremely small one bedroom. We are moving to a 750 square foot, 2 bedroom for the same price. Need to be more considerate of pricing during COVID.”
