Pros: Just about everything - they have consistently improved the building in my years there. A few years ago we got new elevators, and they're currently repainting / refinishing all the hallways. Building staff is so kind, friendly, and helpful. The block is incredibly quiet and safe. Roof deck is lovely. 24 hour doormen. Cons: Some younger tenants can occasionally be quite loud in the hallways / on the roof deck. Can be a challenge to snag open washers/dryers in the laundry room since there are only 3 dryers and some washers don't always work.

Pros: Doormen are pretty nice Cons: Roaches Mold growth in shower due to poor ventilation Water temperature fluctuates greatly, either burning hot or freezing Restroom vent is connected to the neighbor's so all their odor and noise will pass over Windows leak wind and get stuck whenever left open due to thermal expansion Fridge has a high pitched shrill noise that disrupts sleep Not very clean upon move in Bugs coming up from drain Toilet leaks water Maintenance's body odor will stay in your apartment and be impossible to get rid of Advice to landlord: It would be nice if issues could be addressed, but this is really sad for an apartment of this cost

Pros: This was my first apartment building in NYC after I graduated from college, but it was head-and-shoulders above the other apartments my friends were living in at the time. The staff is incredibly kind, and it's also one of the most beautiful blocks on the UWS. Cons: Not much - the water temperature in the shower is a bit finicky, but that's it.
