“Unit 7 Pros: good location and quiet in the back apartments Cons: for the most part it was relatively pest free in fall/winter but i had ant problems through my fire escape window in the spring, and cockaroaches in the summer. had packages stolen couple times, intercom system would have package delivery drivers callling me to open door for packages i didnt even receieve.”

“Unit 21 Pros: Big apt for the village Cons: Poor water pressure, loud street, concerns about lead paint, concerns about pest infestations, no closets, apt was not cleaned for move in Advice to landlord: How can you overcharge when there are over 40 complaints against this building??”

“Unit 18 Pros: Location, location, location! Cons: The management team is HORRIBLE and not responsive! Advice to landlord: Do your job. Fix problems in a timely manner! Not 18 months after the issue began!”

“Unit 24 Pros: Phenomenal area Great lighting Effective buzz-in system Cons: Some pests (cockroaches) No in building laundry Advice to landlord: Do everything possible to stay on top of pest control. The street generates a lot of trash which attracts them. I realize this is out of the building managements control, but it’s nonetheless something to be aware of and work to mitigate”

“Pros: Arguably nothing! Except location, which is questionable, too! Cons: Every day, I would wake up half a dozen mice would be trapped on glue traps in the kitchen alone, trash piled up in the main doorway, disruptive construction that had no reason to be occurring except to harass rent-stabilized tenants though it worked to harass those who were at market rate too! Any and every complaint was systematically ignored and money was (of course) stolen. Truly a disaster. Advice to landlord: Sell the building. Spare people your ineptitude. It’s one of the worse living situations I was ever in.”

“Pros: N/A don’t have any Cons: 120 Macdougal is mismanaged by Westminster Properties. I lived in this buildings for one year. I didn’t have horrible issues with my apartment besides mold in the shower. With that said, Management is totally unresponsive at all times - it was extremely frustrating to not be able to reach anyone via phone call or get a response via email - even after leaving 10 messages, emailing 10 times. They would email me non stop with information about paying rent but when you respond with questions, they don’t email back. I had to threaten legal action to get them to tell me my move out procedures / get my security deposit back. This is not the type of living experience you should get when paying 2500 a month for rent. I would not recommend this building. Advice to landlord: Respond to your tenants. Your building is plummeting in value, the least you could do is ensure the people who are paying rent want to stay.”
