“Pros: Updated apartments, washer dryers in unit, affordable Cons: Landlord can be unresponsive/doesn’t answer on weekends or past 5, heat doesn’t work well Advice to landlord: Make entry door more secure, ensure heat works properly, answer your phone”

“Unit 3R Pros: Joseph has been very responsive and flexible, a great landlord to have ask a young person or someone new to NYC No noise complaints, walls are thick and neighborhood is quiet Tenants are all long-term residents or young professionals In my 1+ year of living here I have only seen 1 roach and after a quick call the place was sprayed Cons: No built-in A/C or laundry”

“Unit 2W Pros: The landlord, Joe, is great and very responsive to maintenance requests. My unit in particular was gut renovated and now features nice stainless steel appliances. Across the street from a school and not a busy street, so it’s quiet at night. Cons: We’ve had several cockroaches and a mouse. The landlord was helpful with the cockroaches (he came to spray the next day) but left us to deal with the mouse on our own. Neighbors do not pick up after their dogs, so the street is often very messy and smelly.”

“Pros: Cheap rent but comes at a cost Cons: Mice infested the entire time we lived there, Landlord did absolutely nothing about it. Woman was a hoarder upstairs and bugs and mice came from her apartment and nothing was done about it. Woke up with rat poop on our bed every day. Absolutely infested. Advice to landlord: Take care of your property better and listen to tenant concerns. Clean up garbage outside and clean common areas.”
