“Pros: If you're into bed bugs, roaches and mice, this might be a good fit for you. But the train is around the corner so that should make up for this miserable building right? “Pros: Location: across from Prospect Park, subway on block, neighbors, Caribbean neighborhood, rent Stabilized, the Super. Cons: LL biased with renovation/permissions to select few, bedbugs since 2008, hot water goes out in winter, VERY LOUD street/poor window quality. Radiation emitting transmitters on roof (rented to Verizon, tenants never notified). Leaky roof 24/7. Most fixes shoddy. Advice to landlord: Take care of the building, stop evicting aging and Black tenants, get rid of transmitters on roof. Stop biases to certain tenants while evicting those who need fair housing.”
