“Pros: Fun location, not worth the headache of the landlord though. Cons: Worst landlord I've had in NYC by far (have lived here 15 years). It seems they've rebranded a few times to try to run from bad reviews. They're currently Centennial Properties, but were 9300 Realty when I rented. Google search Steve Croman -- literally a conman. So many maintenance nightmares due to shoddy upkeep of their properties including my unit. The are professional con artists and will stonewall any attempts to get them to uphold their responsibilities. Don't believe anything they say, and avoid renting from them no matter what they offer you.”
— 89 CLINTON STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Decent price, lots of space Cons: Building management extremely unresponsive any time there's a problem”
— 89 CLINTON STREET · Manhattan“Pros: the location is great Cons: The building is dirty, smells like trash constantly. Has not been swept in at least 1 month. Infested with rats and rat mites that bite tenants. Advice to landlord: pest control”
— 89 CLINTON STREET · Manhattan“Unit 4F Pros: Garbage taken out readily, lived on 4th FL so no pests but ground and 1st did have problem, Eliot (landlord) was always responsive. Cons: The owners of the building are terrible. They scam you by not offering your deposit, are inflexible, and we had a MASSIVE leak in our bathroom. The roof was wide open and there was a tarp for 6+ weeks. Mgmt did nothing in regards to rent compensation. Mold was an issue bc of this. Advice to landlord: No one ever renews their lease for a reason.”
— 89 CLINTON STREET · Manhattan“Pros: It is in a good location; Laundry in unit Cons: Didnt have heat or hot water for more than 30 days Mold in shower drains Non responsive heat & hot water bills add up”
— 89 CLINTON STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Exterior looks nice and the location is great. Not many bars on clinton street so it’s pretty quiet for LES. Cons: Terrible building management- left us with no heat and hot water for a week in December and wouldn’t do anything about it. Had to go everyday to their office in order for them to help. Rats everywhere. Advice to landlord: Quality of the building needs improvement! And please hire people who are experienced and understand the importance of being responsive when a tenant is experiencing issues. Issues like rat infestation and no heat in a cold winter month.”
— 89 CLINTON STREET · Manhattan“Pros: 9300 Realty recently changed the name to Centennial Properties NY is the worst landlord in NYC. The building is crumbling under the fake exterior of the units and you will be ghosted by management and lied to. My ceiling fell and I am going on five months of no help with mold water dripping etc. Cons: I have written both cons because there is nothing good about this building or Croman owned buildings. The biggest con is my lawyer fee to protect my money from these crooks. Advice to landlord: I hope your real estate license is taken away. Also don’t take your tenants money if your family is flaunting their money around NYC.”
