“Unit F8 Pros: Close to the subway, thick walls in the unit on the left and right. My unit came with a new refridgerator and stove, both worked well. Property Manager was very good and responsive, Cons: Occassional plumbing issues, but rare, and super came to fix quickly. Flimsy and a poorly sealed door, with large enough gaps on the side to allow roach entry from the sides and bottom (I did my best to mitigate with weather sealing and my own poison precautions). Very cold in the winter, the heat barely worked in my unit, was only kept a degree or two above legal NYC threshold. Terrible soundproofing in between the floors, you can hear every laugh, yell, loud music will vibrate your feet. Advice to landlord: Renovate floors and/or ceilings and soundproof the units better.”

— 111-09 76 ROAD · Queens“Pros: Spacious layout and lots of natural night. Tree-lined street and quiet neighborhood. Neighbors are nice and friendly. Laundry in the basement and building is clean. Cons: Elevators always broke down and not enough laundry units for the size of the building. Cannot stress enough: Do your own research on the owners, building management, and brokerage! Advice to landlord: Hire people who can at least pretend to be nice.”
