— 3950 BLACKSTONE AVENUE · Bronx“Pros: The area were is located. Cons: Every apartment has a mice or roach infestation. Floors are not insulated. Owner keeps money and never updates building. Owner is not a people person. Owner is rude. Owner is ignorant. Wants to buy 10 cats for the building to “control” the pest problem. He thinks he owns a bodega. Advice to landlord: You are a terrible business person. I can' wait for my lease to expire. There is no advice that will fix you.”
— 3950 BLACKSTONE AVENUE · Bronx“Unit 4b Pros: It is located in a nice area. Cons: If you ever think about moving into 3950 Blackstone Avenue or any building belonging to Weinreb, beware! Many things have happened, but the most recent case was this Friday. The super cut the water supply on the entire line B (Apt 1B, 2B, etc.) and didn’t notify. When we called, he said they would fix the issue on Monday. From Friday to Monday with no water at all. They opened a hole in my bathroom and will open another one in the kitchen to find out if a pipe is leaking down to the basement. If you go to the DOB, the property's number of violations is alarming. I’m waiting for my lease to expire next year. So if my apartment or any other is vacant, do not move because you will regret it. Maintenance is disgusting, and there’s mold, issues take weeks or months to get resolved, and the floors are not insulated. It is a mess! Weinreb management is being sued by the city too. Advice to landlord: No one can have a thriving business by being greedy, rude, and irresponsible. There is a lack of understanding and education, and it shows.”
— 3950 BLACKSTONE AVENUE · Bronx“Pros: Cheaper than most around the neighborhood Cons: I guess you get what you pay for?? Extremely slow response to any problem in apartment. Pests mice pests mice.”
— 3950 BLACKSTONE AVENUE · Bronx“Pros: The laundry rooms are large and well kept. Pet friendly building. Cons: The walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors doing all kinds of things. They converted to gas heat and the price went up so after years of great heat they gave the minimum amount of heat.”
— 3950 BLACKSTONE AVENUE · Bronx“Pros: Nice apt. layouts Cons: Mice infestation in all apartments Scaffolding up for over 2 years with no work started, No landscaping Water damage in most walls and ceilings “Indoor” parking garage has broken door… won’t fix because too expensive Dirty halls, broken locks… color scheme is brown and beige… Advice to landlord: Fix up your building and you’d make more money, dummy.”
— 3950 BLACKSTONE AVENUE · Bronx“Pros: Cheap rent is appealing Cons: Awful management, mice, cockroaches, construction. Building is falling apart and the owner wont invest. Lots of open violations.”
