“Pros: Spacious and modern Cons: Laundry room, gym and common area should be kept tidier.”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: The neighbors are generally nice and suffering under the same landlord. Cons: They will not give you back your security deposit. They will threaten you and accuse you of made up infractions until you relent. The building itself is infested with cockroaches and mold. The train runs right next door and is very loud. Advice to landlord: Stop being such scumbags”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 3D Pros: Cool rooftop and common areas Cons: Elevator always broken Advice to landlord: Be more responsive and organized”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: “Modern” looking apartments Cons: Terrible management—hard to get in touch with, once you get in touch they will gaslight you and refuse to fix issues. Entire building is riddled with mold, even the pipes. DO NOT MOVE HERE. One of my former neighbors got cancer after living in this building for an extended period of time and suspects it was due to the mold exposure. The mold exposure gave me chronic skin issues. Would not suggest living in any of CW Realty Group’s buildings, they are scum lords who are actively choosing to put their tenants’ health in danger for profit. Advice to landlord: Bulldoze this building. Stop being pieces of shit.”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Modern, the building super is very friendly and responsible, the apartment interiors are nice Cons: Unresponsive management, a few problem with mail deliveries”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Close to the A/C Cons: Building has a HUGE noise issue that has been going on for months. Every night there is pounding on the wall for hours at a time. Management has been notified but no action has been taken. It makes it nearly impossible to sleep. Advice to landlord: Get to the bottom of the noise problem”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 2F Pros: New building (when I moved in), spacious, near the subway, laundry in the building, rooftop elevator access, car parking Cons: Management is unresponsive and will avoid responsibility at every turn, regular package theft, maintenance waits until the 11th hour to do anything (there was a horrific black mold infestation that management ignored for months), neighbors left trash and pet feces in the parking lot, front of the building and roof, management will occasionally leave piles of trash in the parking lot which attracts rats Advice to landlord: Take better care of the property and be more attentive to your tenants. The degradation of this building was sad to see.”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: The kitchens are nice and the ac works well. Cons: Very bad management that charges random fees. Packwdge rrom is a mess. Building smells bad. Amenity spaces are moldy. Terrible neighborhood. Advice to landlord: Better attention to the building and tennants. Cleaner building and and amenity spaces.”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Good laundry Dishwasher in units Nice rooftop Cons: Door buzzers don't always work Elevator gets stuck often Small package room Advice to landlord: Figured out a new system for packages”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: It was new Cons: Broken elevator, broken laundry machines, stolen packages Advice to landlord: Take care of the place you own”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 4A Pros: Roof access Gym access Lounge room Laundry room Cons: Gym and lounge been under repair for months. The laundry machines are too small, too pricey, and not the best at washing it drying. Elevator is way too slow Advice to landlord: Needs better security for packages and storage room. The landlord charges way too much but no improvement in the building.”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 6G Pros: Apartments are nice with modern appliances. Cons: Elevator is always going out. There are only three washers and three driers for 49 units. The tenants are constantly having rooftop parties (sometimes will full bands). It's incredibly loud and they guest throw trash and cigarette butts over the ledge which land on the balconies below. Management has done nothing to stop it. Gym and lounge are a joke and shouldn't be considered "amenities". They leave the garbage piled in the parking are which is already super small and tight. Management is awful at taking care of issues. They don’t care at all about the building. Advice to landlord: Hire people to take better care of your building. It’s falling apart due to negligence from management.”
— 41 BROOKLYN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Roof is a nice place to hang out. Gym fits all of my needs. Management does an okay job at responding. Appreciated how they hired a security guard when many of our packages got stolen. Cons: Trash on my floor piles up quickly. I can tell the elevator is never cleaned. There’s not enough laundry machines and paying for it with a mobile app is very finicky”
