“Pros: Spacious apartments some are renovated. Cons: Terrible building, neighbors not considerate and they treat the place like trash. trash is left everywhere. Smoking is constant in the stairwell. Managment knows of the smoking nothing is done about it.  as far as the neighborhood extremely loud at all times weekends is unbearable loud noises loud parties loud cars with music. Not safe. The trash around the neighborhood is disgusting. Food is always left out. Dog poop is never picked up tons of mice issues and cockroaches is a constant in all apartments primarily because trash is left up in everywhere. Lacks care from management and owners.”

“Pros: Friendly neighbors, dead center in Inwood so access to everything is amazing Cons: Heat during the winter is close to nonexistent and has been worse during my second year of the lease Advice to landlord: n/a”

“Pros: Close to A train subway, near back side of building is pretty quiet for the area. Cons: Issues with bugs and layout/finishing; unit was converted from studio to a 2BR and done rather quickly, so rooms were small and doors did not hang flush and were installed backwards.”

“Pros: Super and management’s responsiveness, nice neighbors. Cons: the whole Sherman avenue is loud from June to October due to the ongoing partying on the streets, dirt bikes and drag racing. You will not sleep until 5am.”

“Pros: The whole apartment was renovated, spacious and quiet, since it was at the back of the building. Cons: People just sitting on the front entrance, having loud speakers, children running up and down the stairs, sitting on the stairs”

“Pros: Rent was cheap (~2300 for 3 BR/1 Bath), rooms were relatively large Cons: Roaches, ceiling leaked and was difficult to get fixed, water sometimes stopped running or had really low pressure Advice to landlord: Notify people when pest control was coming, more communications about water pressure and heat when it wasn’t optimal, etc.”
