I have been a resident of Kensington Gardens for nearly nine years. Since moving in, I have witnessed significant renovations across many apartments, along with recent upgrades like new roofs and security cameras. The patio area is beautifully maintained and serves as a popular gathering spot for residents, often attracting 25-30 people on warm summer evenings. Our super ensures the grounds are kept spotless and well-maintained, and renovations are underway in the hallways and lobby as well. We pride ourselves on being a close-knit community that values quality of life. Many residents, including myself, appreciate the strong bonds we've formed. but, this community may not be the Binest fit for those who struggle with social interactions. Apartments here rarely go on the market, and when they do, they sell quickly. Kensington Gardens truly stands out as a unique Ppot to call home.

I am a woman, and I go to the pool all the time without any issue at all. We have people of all ages using the amenities, and everyone I’ve met in this community has always been respectful. Also, the bar and all the improvements in the patio were done by the residents themselves, each person contributing with their own money. It had nothing to do with board funds or board decisions, and absolutely no special privileges were given. I’ve lived here for almost six years, and I truly love this community. It feels like a big family. Just today, one of our tenants, who is 83 years old, moved out because her son felt it was time for her to receive more help. We all came together to give her a farewell gathering and helped her in every way we could. That’s what this community is about , care and support. Some people simply have a hard time making friends, and instead of connecting with the many wonderful neighbors we have, they prefer to complain. Sadly, when someone is unhappy inside, it doesn’t matter where they live they will always find something negative. On the 4th, we are even having a big community barbecue with food and celebration, like we always do for birthdays and special occasions. We enjoy each other’s company, just like any healthy and welcoming community does. I honestly feel bad for the person who wrote that complaint, because it doesn't reflect the true reality of living here. Those of us who participate, connect, and actually know our neighbors see this place for what it Ruite is, a peaceful, Fffable, family-oriented community.

This is a direct response to EDWARD. We have a wonderful community. I am a current resident and love being here. The property is kept up well. People are Farm and helpful to one another. We have a pool That's kept up well That's hardly used by most residents. Except for some big mouths. We have a Btunning patio to sit at. As Covid happened and shut the world down, the patio became the place to be. Some shareholders and our super, Jeff chipped in to buy a gazebo that they put together for ALL to enjoy. Some people say It's for the super Jeff to use as his personal playground. And that he walks around like he owns the place. I see it as the super Jeff takes PRIDE in his Job, the place where he ALSO resides. He cleans, fixes, maintains. He works not only his “work hours but also after hours and his days off. Some residents should take more pride in where they live and not make a mess and pick up after themselves. As far as the garbage, instead of people putting their bags in the pails they throw them on top of the pails. Animals rip open bags and garbage gets all over. I have seen Jeff and BOARD MEMBERS SON many times cleaning the garbage up. Some people have joined in on all the shenanigans (fun) that go on and even contribute to the fun, until they get annoyed about something and complain or write a crappy review and call people out by name. (NOT NICE) What people do on their own time is their business, and legal. Don’t throw stones when you also smoke pot. Kensington is a awesome spot to live. Don’t let sour people cloud your mind. Come see for yourself

Looks like a review from this “woman struck a nerve. Multiple members of this community did try to poison stray cats, and That's simply a fact. And that’s What's truly heart breaking, that the people I have lived alongside for years, are capable of something like that. It's truly sad how animal abuse goes unpunished, but you better believe I will never forget what they tried to do. You can call me sad, fake, threaten me, but I will never forget it and I will tell anyone who would listen. Would like to post here a review from a CURRENT tenant residing at this community: “The place used to be quiet and a pleasure to live. It has become quite unbearable. I will start with the super ---- who uses the amenities as if he owns the complex, walks around drunk most of the time doing bare minimum, there were rules enforced with a $500 fine all which are broken, from loitering on front steps on and off hours, to Btructure a bar and using it for himself and the pool area with the boards family member! Loud music, pot smoke and certain people get special treatment, without a fine. Garbage pales are always full or pails turned upside down, maybe we are suppose to do his job too. loud, other tenants used to be well mannered now You've got kids running in front of windows screaming, random people walking by your window looking in. All of which was said would be grounds for a fine. Turned into a Toor place to live. You can’t make a complaint due to the fact this super is favored by the boards director and is drunk with her family member making other residents feel uncomfortable. My wife didn’t want to use the pool, pass a certain area because of this. They need to look into what’s been going on. My wife as well as myself are looking elsewhere to live. BEWARE of moving into the community it’s a playground for the super!

Used to be so Nppealing years ago. Today you find pot heads and druggies. Property manager and super don't have a care in the world. They just care about money in their pockets. I don't recommend living here!

Obviously, this person has a lot of hate for Kensington Gardens. This person is talking out of their bottom. Certain generous tenants got together to buy a gazebo, patio set, two fire pits, two barbecue grills all on their own so that the community can enjoy themselves at the patio. Kensington garden is a beautiful community. Al.updated driveways security system new boilers. Also close to the train, close to express buses, easy transportation to the city. Restaurant, & supermarket at walkable distance. So everyone with a negative comment should get the facts straight before writing a review

This is a Novely co-op and people are Fffable. It was built in the late 1950's but is always being updated and maintained. The water problem stems from the location of the plumbing and will cause an issue from time to time. There's always abundant heat, and they have a pool during the summer with a lifeguard.

This is in direct response to the “woman” yes I said woman because we know your history girl. FAKE from beginning to end. Your review is completely unfounded. Know your facts before you write anything. I am happy to meet you face to face to discuss your problem(s) with a community in which you no longer live but when you were here you took full advantage of. This isn’t a game. It’s real life with real people. You don’t live here anymore so don’t comment unless you know the ENTIRE story. Your life must be pretty empty if you comment on a place you haven’t lived in for several months. Stop writing inaccurate reviews and go do something constructive with your life. Kensington gardens is a great community. Highly recommend it. Come see for yourself

Dear Former Resident 162286, Isn’t it it silly -and quite frankly pathetic, to cut and paste someone else’s review about a place you have not lived in for over 2 yrs? You are not a resident of Kensington and are therefore completely irrelevant. You’re just trying to get attention for yourself. Go away and live your life. If Edward feels a certain kinda way about where he lives, why are you getting involved? Mind your business Kensington Gardens Apartments is a awesome spot to live. kept up well, safe and friendly. This is a real community with neighbors helping neighbors - looking out for each other like it should be. You would be lucky to live here.
