I’m a 15 year resident at the Tysen’s Apartments so my review is recent (2024). This building has become a cesspool of shady residents, loud and obnoxious neighbors who have no type of courtesy, a middle aged woman with obvious mental health issues who constantly berates people and is clearly a racist. Needless to say I don't plan on renewing my lease once It's up. Oh and did I mention the fire of 2017? Ummm…..yeah.

Mr Eric Rampulla, Property Manager and Jackie Marsalla, maintenance general- manager, went above and beyond the call of duty. I as a tenant in one of the buildings can say with a full heart that I have never been happier living in such a place run by the aformentioned gentlemen. My Mother was looking for an apartment, I suggested Tysens Park; My Mother got the apartment and the workforce that Jackie oversees made my mothers apartment absolutely wonderful. The maintenance workers are an incredible asset to the complex. Hats off to Eric and Jackie.

i would like to compliment one of you mgmt staff, ms. cecila. she accommodated me well when i moved here in 2006, i ran into her the other day and to my amazement she remembered me. i like the idea of after six years, this woman in mgmt remembered me.

Mixed feelings...I don't know about everyone else but my place is a really good deal! It's so nice! sadly was greeted by a cockroach in the bathtub when I got here but the exterminator came right away and it's been ok. These bad reviews are from a few years ago.

I HAVE LIVED AT TYESEN'S APT 6 YEARS - IN THE PAST 2- 2 1/2 YEARS THE PLACE HAS GONE DOWN HILL - INFESTED WITH ROACES AT 285 MILL ROAD -MY ENTIRE KITCHEN IS LOADED EVERY DRAW CABINET AND UNDER STOVE EVEN FOUND NESTS IN THR CABINETS AND KID YOU NOT I THRU EVERYTHIG OUT OF MY KITCHEN CABINETS AND THEY ARE STILL COMING - NO FOOD IN THEM AT ALL. MY KITCHEN SMELLS SO BAD LIKE URINE FROM THE ROACHES. YUCK!!!!!! COMING FROM CONFECTOR/ UNDERDISHWASHER BEHIND DISHWASHER AND UNDER AND BEHIND STOVE (It's SO DISCUSTING) PLUMBING BACKUPS ARE ALL TO OFTEN ESPECIALLY IN THE BATHROOM WITH THE SINK AND TUB - I HAVE PICTURES OF MY BATHTUB FILLED UP BY THE DRAIN (COULD NOT GET ANYONE IN AN EMERGENCY) SOME GREASE/FOOD/HAIR AND BLACK SOOT CAME ALL THE WAY UP AND THEN IN MY SINK. I HAD TO HAVE THE SUPER TAKE CARE OF BECAUSE THE EMERGENCY GUY COULD NOT MAKE IT AND HE DIDN'T EVEN CALL BACK TO BOOT!!! I WAITED FOR HOURS POOR POOR SERVICE - THE BUILDING ARE FILTY AND THE FLOORS ARE NEVER CLEANED -LAUNDRY ROOM LOOKS LIKE A FILTH HAVEN AND NOW SAME WITH COMPACTOR ROOM. HAS ANYONE NOTICED THAT THE CAMERA ON THE SIDE ENTRANCE HAS DISAPPEARED HMMM WONDER WHY AND THAT DOOR IS CONSTANTLY LEFT OPEN. ALL CHARACTERS ARE ROAMING ALL OVER THIS BUILDING ALL THE TIME. BE CAREFUL NOT TO OPEN YOUR DOOR TO ANYONE. GOING DOWN DOWN HILL AND NOW THEY RENT TO ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!! WHEN I MOVED IN YOU PAID FOR EVERYTHING. NOW NO THAT'S WHY THIS PLACE IS NOW CHANGING ALSO. THINK I HAVE TO MOVE FROM HERE LOL DID YOU GET A LAUGH WHEN YOU SEE THIS ON THE WEBSITE A FRESHLY PAINTED APARTMENT (ANOTHER THING THEY don't DO AFTER YOU MOVE IN) TILES IN THE BATHROOM NEW FAUCETS IN THE BATHROOM WHAT A JOKE AND RENT.COM HAS THIS ON THEIR WEBSITE LOL TOO FUNNY

Toor , grimy, urine in stairwells, cig butts ,garbage noise,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Don't Move Here. Waterbugs, roaches. Worst place ever. Staff is great though. Other than that mgmt doesn't care about anything .

I recently had A new ceramic floor installed in my kitchen and I must say I am happy. I have to say mgmt Renuinely helped me because of my job. I only had off a few hours during the week and they did everything possible to get the job done. They even sent the super on the weekend to re-install my stove. My floor looks great thanks to a job well done!

285 Mill Road is infested with Bedbugs on Floors 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the N and P and M lines. BEWARE. The mgmt isn't following the Npdated rules of the city to erradicate them. They are supposed to notify tenants they exist in the buildings and exterminate above, below and adjacent and they are not doing it right. As people are moving in they are not telling Npdated tenants that the appartments have bedbugs.

Drug dealers roam the halls. I can't wait to find another place to live when I can put together to cost of moving again. I feel like I should get a refund for the cost it was to move here.THe only good thing is the convenience to stores and the banks.Living here sucks. THe rental broker is a liar.
