Pros: The problems outweigh the good Cons: Rodents on rodents on rodents. Neighbors that constantly ring doorbell and knock on door for no reason. Landlord is aggressive and lies. The Landlord Tara Singh owns multiple buildings and is known for cutting himself and calling the cops on the tenants to have them arrested so he can put all of their stuff on the streets. If I did not have cameras the cops would’ve arrested me too. They barely wanted to believe the camera footage and insisted I edited it even though I was showing them live footage and minute by minute playback. The cops would not let me press charges against my landlord either. I took the landlord to housing court to which my lawyer informed me my landlord was in there for other cases. He does not take care of rodents. He will walk into your apartment unannounced even though you have asked him to knock and had others translate it for him. I had jewelry go missing from my bathroom (the one room I didn’t have cameras in) when him and his maintenance workers were in my house. This whole experience was horrible. Advice to landlord: Learn the laws

Pros: Decent space, great lighting, decent location Cons: Pests and rodents are out of control. Heat gets turned off in winter but left on when hot. There’s so many air leaks and loose windows. The walls are thin, can hear neighbor full conversations. Neighbors slam front doors so hard causing art to fall off wall and break. The landlord doesn’t fix things and then demeans me in the process. This last part doesn’t have to do with the building but I’ve been followed twice in this neighborhood on my way home. Advice to landlord: If you actually had quality items and quality service and hired professional contractors instead of doing everything yourself this place could have potential.
