Cons: Residents are compelled to request basic amenities such as hot water and heating. This situation remains consistent year after year. The superintendent’s laziness is evident, and when he undertakes tasks, the quality is so subpar that additional assistance is required. Advice to landlord: Implement new management and ensure the proper maintenance of the buildings. These structures are valuable assets, but they have been neglected.

Unit 18 Pros: This building has access to 2 subway lines into the city by 10 min commute. It is heart of Astoria. Cons: Cars honking constantly. Getting your apartment service is extremely difficult. Extremely strong smell from restaurants that occupies the bottom of the two building. Can’t leave your window open. Rude neighbors they don’t care about the noise that comes out from their apartment. To many new neighbors smoke so much weed it’s actually gross. Dirty hallways. Advice to landlord: The management needs to do their job and take it seriously. Because it’s easier to call 311 then getting anything fixed.
