Pros: Building is beautiful , amenities are nice, former super is extra cool Cons: Parking is AWFUL! Strong presence of drug use outside , neighbors are careless. Advice to landlord: Respond to the tenants. We already pay enough to reside here .

Unit 22H Pros: Nice amenities, nice units themselves, the handy man is very nice. Cons: Management was very unresponsive, never fixed things when they said they would, building was often dirty and took a lot to get them to clean, neighborhood is sketchy Advice to landlord: Follow through when people complain and you say you will.

Pros: Cleanliness, responsiveness, Great Wall installation you cannot hear footsteps Cons: Marijuana smoking on floors. New building being built has block the views and the current construction is annoying Advice to landlord: Find a way to control smoking and not only issue warnings that are not taken seriously

Pros: - beautiful building and humongous units - well maintained - excellent staff (doormen, porters, super) who really care about the tenants and the building - amenities (parking garage, laundry room, club room, gym, roof deck, mail room, 24 hour doorman) - proximity to LIRR Cons: - location. But maybe give it a few years and this area of Jamaica will improve - local crime. Definitely not safe to walk around by yourself. - nothing to do nearby (no restaurant or bar scene, no shops) - areas of apartment have thin walls and you can hear your neighbors cough or their TV - smoking of cigarettes and weed by tenants on all floors, so it no longer feels luxurious and beautiful in the building like when it first opened. It’s embarrassing to have guests over since they’ll have to walk through hallways filled with pot smoke and weed smell. It also infiltrates your apartment, so you’ll have to open windows and invest in air filters and purifiers if you don’t want offensive smells in your home. - construction across the street makes it incredibly difficult to get in and out of the garage and there is insane traffic - the worst part of living here; the trains. They blow their horns all day and all night, and even though the windows are double paned, the noise is incredibly loud and constant. We sleep with earplugs and 2 white noise machines on full blast and you can still hear the noise. Advice to landlord: - actually enforce the no smoking policy and do more to penalize those who are making living here uncomfortable for others with their offensive smells. The awful smells make the building feel dirty and shabby.

Pros: Location for transit Cons: The safety and cleanliness has declined severely. The building is not well maintained. Visitors are not properly screened or announced. Oversized dogs allowed to live jin the building There is dog feces all Up and down the block, the sidewalks see disgusting. There are seedy characters hanging around and sometimes in the building. Bathroom is not up to par with current constructions, tiny fiberglass tub (I hate those) small vanity and mirror, old fashioned toilet, construction across the street (same mgmt) soon views are gone, no parking on the street, mgmt company leased (in-building)garage to iPark and tenants/customers only have access to park from 6am to midnight, windows don’t block out enough of the noise, not a great walking area (the usual crime element found near a transit hub) Advice to landlord: Get control of the building security. Stop allowing people in without announcing them to tenants. Clean the surroundings of the building. Screen applicants better.
