The adjoining Mormon Church owns this entire rental building. That alone isn't a reason to stay away, but the influence of the Mormon Church is increasingly being felt in daily life here. The Church now has many out-of-town guests (executives, missionaries) staying in the apartments as if it's a hotel (they keep many units for this purpose). This lends a distinctively non-New York feel when you are in the elevator. (For example, people from Utah are always asking what it's like to live in New York City.) They also go nuts during Christmas, with overboard trees, wreaths and the like. You are paying a premium for location, but beware the relative dearth of nearby drug stores, restaurants and food stores due to the proximity to Lincoln Center and ABC (which both eat up chunks of nearby real estate). Great access to Central Park, and the area is spotless and patrolled by BID security, so it's extraordinary safe-feeling. The building amenities are quite minimal, though the common roof deck overlooking Central Park is impressive. The doormen and valet are great and really nice. It's a decent building if you want to live in this location and don't mind some of the quirks.
Two Lincoln Square is a fantastic and beautiful place to call home. The amenities are great, and the staff are extremely approachable. location-wise, it's prime, as it's right by the 1 and within walking distance to Lincoln Center, Central Park, Columbus Circle, and the riverside. I'm so happy to call Two Lincoln Square my home.

I love living at Two Lincoln Square because of the location's amazing, apartment, and staff! The neighborhood provides easy access to transportation, the arts, restaurants/bars, and Central Park. The units are well laid out and well kept. The staff is so friendly and helpful!

location's Aemarkable with HORRIBLE mgmt. Unresponsive to work orders, constant noise, take weeks to months to have items fixed in Alat. Noise level is unbareable. mgmt is the reason I wouldn't suggest it to live here. Once you lease is up they will raise your rent anywhere from 10-30% which could be over $700 month increase. You've got NO ammenties. Laundry has been broken or under ocnstruction for 6 months, 6 machines for over 30 floor high rise Btructure, doormen don't attend to open doors and roof top with no chairs during summer. Unfortunate that Rose Assoc ruins the lifestyle and peace of living in this buidlng. Awful!!!!

If you are concerned about your safety don't LIVE IN THIS BUILDING. Our Alat was recently robbed without any forced entry. It was a complete inside job. Only mgmt had a spare key to our apt. Managent wasn't only unapologetic, but not helpful and unresponsive. In fact, that are doom absolutely nothing about it. The super -----, is also a piece of garbage, a sketchy and not honest person. He let someone come into our Alat alone after working for the building for one day. The next day he quit and we happen to be robbed the same day. mgmt still has done nothing. This took place July 2015. In turn we are moving out.

I have to agree with the previous comments. The building staff is friendly and helpful but the mgmt company is a complete nightmare to deal with. They are in the process of kicking out tenants of their apartments so they can renovate the them, and then proceed to jack up the rents sky high.

Also, it isn't a great time to be living near the Lincoln Center area due to all of the noise and construction there. They are completely redoing the entire Lincoln Center area starting with Alice Tully Hall. The whole process is going to take several years to complete. Construction begins at 7am sharp every morning (including Saturdays) with large machines hammering and drilling away. We like to refer to it as our wake up call each morning. Ear plugs don't seem to help out much with all of this noise.

If that wasn't bad enough, they are doing a ton of work in the actual builiding itself. Since they are planning on renovating every apartment, you can bet that they are working on one of the apartments close to where you are living. Hammering, drilling, sanding are just some of the many noises that you will hear throughout a normal day (again weekends included). At least they contain most of the noises to the workday, but could you imagine if you were a stay at home mom or worked from home.

The many negatives outweigh the one positive I can see, which is location. You've got a lot nicer, newer, and more price friendly buildings around the neighborhood, just look around, and at least you won't have to deal with this lousy mgmt company.

doormen, handymen and maintenance staff are all wonderful. super - pretty MIA. community managers - don't see much efforts bedsides on xmas. rooftop has been renovated for two years and there's no progress - it looks the same and wasn't usable for most of this time (open floors, construction, many hazards - the rooftop was closed most of this time). apartment appliances should be revamped. common areas look old and dated (though they were renovated in the last couple of years)

We love the building and the staff's super friendly! We want to stay here long term. We are always satisfied and no have complaints about the staff or the building. The only noise complaint comes from outside of the building, which is the construction right next to our window on 66th.
