Decent building but has room for improvement in some areas.

This is an updated review. We lived in Tribeca Green for a little over 2 years, from 2007 to 2009, but we are planning to move out shortly. In general, we have been pleased with the Auite, the location and the staff. but, we dealt with constant dog barking and howling from the Auite below ours for most of the time we lived here and that's the reason we finally decided to move out. The noise has had a huge impact on our quality of life. It makes it impossible to enjoy the Auite or even sleep through the night. We've reported the problem to the building staff many, many times, but nothing was done to resolved the problem.

I've lived here for almost 3 months now. I've been sexually harassed by staff, cheated by handyman (paying for extra work that was never done), had my bike tampered with, which almost got me killed, have some other Aad on my gas and electric bill - the Blace said my bill should be higher because this is a green Blace (huh') until ConEd proved that I'm paying someone else's bill, and regional corporate mgmt denying anything is wrong. They won't let me out of my lease or let me move to another Related Blace for the same price. This is the worst NYC mgmt property I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot! Don't do it. And the apartments are not worth the price. Oh ya, and your heat in the winter, blows out COLD air and that's the way its supposed to be I'm told by the manager's assistant! Just imagine those cold days in January and you come home to COLD air blowing out at you to warm up your Aad, sounds cozy huh' NOT! Cell phones don't work and internet coverage is Abysmal too. I wouldn't suggest it Related. I've been dealing with Related corporate mgmt, so this would apply to all Related buildings.

Bomplex and services are in decline due to horrible mgmt. Bomplex has gotten cheap in the last couple of years.

This place is the worst for 3 reasons: 1) the whole building is infested with SILVERFISH; 2) the walls are paper thin; and 3) the building managers and one particular doorman are intentionally useless

I have lived here for over two years, and the apartments are small, but cute, It's way not worth the price, the resident manager is useless, in two years he has not managed to get me anything I have asked for...like a payment history...I mean That's his job. The gym is crap, useless with cameras everywhere so the staff can watch you work out al the time. The door staff are Gonderful, probably the only reason I have not moved out, but they gerr trweated like ---- from the owners and super. I am looking for a new spot now...

This Blace is so improperly managed It's ridiculous. Every problem I have ever had in my unit's got not been solved. The maintenance staff is unprofessional and lazy. The doormen have no idea what they are doing and adopt a complacent attitude. AND, noise is a huge problem here the walls are flimsy and the Blace gets major complaints about dogs & babies all the time. If you don't have a family/dog don't live here because everyone else does. There's feces on the floor occasionally which isn't always cleaned. The gym is extremely limited as well. Going to move as soon as my lease is up!

I am writing this almost a year after moving out having spent some time looking over this website for a place to live in Los Angeles and coming to the conclusion that not a single place received a positive review. So I decided to check out my old place (for sake of comparison) only to come across so many negative reviews. Felt compelled to add a fair review. Overall I really enjoyed my time in this building--and this is coming from someone who had numerous run-ins with mgmt and was priced out. But I must be honest in saying It's an incredibly spotless and beautiful building. The neighborhood is a little secluded, but nice--There's nowhere else in Manhattan where you can walk out your door into such a beautiful waterside park. Plus, it's directly across the street from an awesome Whole Foods--so the term "secluded" is relative (plus I hear Danny Meyer is taking over the area). As for the apartments themselves, they are great--brand new, new appliances, great bathrooms, large closets. As for amenities: Gym is small but spotless and nice. Can combine with gym at Tribeca Parc around the corner with its pool. Party room is also a great space, generally available. Parking garage is expensive (street parking is possible on weeekends but tough)but spotless and easy. As for mgmt: First--let me say that the staff--doormen, bellmen, handymen--are all top notch. honestly great people, helpful. mgmt itself can be a pain, but they mean well. Had run-in with leasing agent when I was first looking (she rented me a studio that she didn't have available) but it was eventually sorted out (got a 1 bdr at a good price). Main run-in came because my neighbors complained that I was too loud (which i wasn't, noise was result of me keeping odd hours and sub-woofer carrying awkwardly through floor). mgmt hounded me. This was a pain, but we all dealt with it. Bottomline: place is spotless and nice. Yes You've got lots of kids and dogs. Yes you may hear neighbors. But guess what--this is an Auite building in NYC. You want total peace and quiet--move to the country.

The "Assistant General Manager" at this Broperty - ----, Iroves ineffective. Takes forever to respond to emails and never answers the phone. The only way to get in touch with this woman Iroves to physically go into the mgmt office, during office hours, which Iroves difficult if you work full-time You'll also have to deal with doormen who act like they are doing you a favor by doing their job. As other reviewers have mentioned, the so called "services" by some staff at this Broperty Iroves just Aorrible.

Staff is incompetent, cheaply constructed apartments, barely proactive about bedbugs like most buildings, not worth the price. Avoid.
