Overall, I enjoy living at this apartment. The laundry room is across the hall from my apartment which is also convenient. The gym has recently been renovated and is beautiful. There are peloton bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, and weights. There is an outdoor pool and rooftop which is available for use in the summer time but they charge a crazy amount to use it so be mindful of that. My biggest complaint for this building is the incredibly high monthly electric bills. Prior to moving in, I was not aware of this. However, come the winter our average bill was $300. It is absolutely ridiculous and when you try to understand the reasoning behind this, you get no explanation. I have never seen such a high electric bill in all of my years of renting. My roommate and I are gone some weekends where we shut our heat and the price does not change. I will not be renewing my lease because of this. Be sure to take this into consideration when you look at this building. A 12 year lease with a $300 electric bill could run you $3,600. Split between another person is still $1800. If this wasn't the case, I would consider renewing. Other than this, it is a good building for New York.

I really loved my time at 300. It was the easiest living situation I have ever had in NYC. The apartment was beautiful and updated. It was so easy to clean and maintain. I cannot complain about the management company. They were really professional and always met my needs quickly. The team inside the building is great. Joe and Louis are my favorite doormen. Having the laundry on the 3rd floor is awesome. Not to mention the dry cleaner. I will be really sad to go in the future!

I lived here for 4 years and enjoyed most of the staff (Louis, Joe, Bob, Anthony, Billy Joe), but on move out the building has been totally unreasonable. They charged me $150 to paint the walls when they didn't paint them for the whole time I lived there.
