Pros: I never saw any bugs/other critters while living here. Each room had nice windows, closets were a good size. The layout of the apartment was functional. Cons: The temperature was unbearable from december to may. Even during the coldest days, I was sweating through my clothes because it was so hot. Packages were also constantly being stolen from the lobby. Advice to landlord: invest in better security in the lobby.

Pros: Good apartment finishes. Gave gift cards for paying rent on time Cons: Raised rent 34% including additional fee in security deposit upon lease renewal. Heat was always blasting from September through May even if it was 65 degrees out. No laundry in building. Water was always scorching hot or freezing. Super barely responded or came on time. Owner would randomly stop by apartment with random people to and not explain why. Packages are constantly stolen. Video camera to see who enters the building is scratched so you can’t see who is entering the building. Broker fee for a broker who didn’t even stay to help sign the lease or answer any of our questions.

Pros: Perfect location, hallways are cleaned weekly. Never once saw a rat or roach! Cons: Loud-ish neighbors, garbage has to be taken out in a crawl space. Heating situation is weird - at least in my apartment it was a heated metal pole. Advice to landlord: The rent you charge for these places is pure robbery lol. You should be ashamed bumping up the prices the way you have.

Unit 5 Pros: The neighbors were friendly, a mix of long-time residents and college students. Never received complaints about noise, and never heard anyone else's noise Cons: We had a persistent mouse problem, that was never helped, and the heat on the lower floors was full-blast during the winter months, which meant we kept our windows open throughout January. Advice to landlord: Be more responsive to complaints, and communicate when you will be showing the apartments to prospective tenants- the landlord once tried to show people my apartment while I was in the shower.

Pros: SO hot in the winter on the upper floors. Great location. Not many pests—had one mouse and that’s it for the whole couple years we were there Cons: Not enough counter space or outlets. TINY bathroom and second bedroom. Standpipe clicks non-stop in the winter. Had a leak in the apt above ours—building was uncommunicative for nearly a week but did fix it after that

Pros: Very clean hallways and garbage area, management cares a lot about building and often making improvements, great super, loved living here Cons: Heat got way too hot and couldn’t do anything about it other than open a window, packages were stollen a couple times Advice to landlord: Maybe do something about the heat. It was really difficult to sleep in the winter.
