Pros: Nice location, friendly neighborhood, laundry room is great. In building gym, key fob access Cons: We caught 8 mice in our one year living here. The hallways were always grimy and smelled like cigarette smoke. The super has several huskies that he lets out in the back alley, they poop everywhere so the back alley is usually infested with flies. The walls were so thin, we could smell the incense our neighbor would light every day, and could hear kids running around in the unit above us.

Pros: Decent rent prices during Covid Cons: rent increased significantly after Covid, reports of tenants being unsafe about maintenance staff in the building.

Pros: New laundry system is good. Interactions with the property management company have actually been surprisingly positive and productive. Cons: Roach infestation on my floor and throughout the property, especially the laundry room. Stairwells have cigarette butts and other litter, never consistently cleaned. Super is unresponsive. The third party rent collection website is terrible. Advice to landlord: Get a new super and rent collection site.

Pros: Separate kitchen and living room. Cons: The stairwell smells like cigarette smoke because tenants sit and smoke in the hallways. The floors are terrible. I can hear and feel the neighbors footsteps from next door to the unit above, while the neighbor across the hall I can hear shouting at their tv. It is a noisy and rickety place since our floor shakes when the neighbors walk or drop things. It feels as though they are in your unit. The public spaces are messy and musty. Advice to landlord: Fix the floors and get a better super, as well as someone to clean the common areas.

Pros: The actual units are pretty well maintained and modern. Appliances are standard and working. Super lives on site and is responsive. Cons: Just generally sort of dark and dirty in the lobby/stairwells. There's a buzz system that is not really programmed but you do need a key fob to go in which is nice. Advice to landlord: More regular deep cleans.

Pros: Good floorplans + close to many transport options Cons: Gets very hot on upper floors, frequent noise at night, not the cleanest builing
