Upper East Side

The Upper East Side around 86th to 96th streets is classic Manhattan living — Yorkville's old German biergartens have given way to brunch spots, but the neighborhood retains its family-friendly, slightly quieter character. Carl Schurz Park and the East River Promenade are local treasures.
