I lived on this Extell property, One Manhattan Square for more than 2 years, and honestly, it was the WORST residential experience I've ever had in my entire life! The property manager, Dana McFarlane should be fired and replaced immediately. I experienced nonstop harassment and stalking, which is a crime, from both her and a YouTuber resident who they defended and gave her a fraudulent payout of over $10,000 off of a frivolous legal fee that was billed to me. They threatened me with fines and legal action for even speaking to the front desk and staff + false complaints from a YouTuber. The stalking I experienced was unacceptable from both property management and residents!! Do not move here! They did not appreciate me being a resident, stole both $1,772.50 & $10,000 from me in fraudulent legal fees totaling $11,772.50 without warning, disclosures, or notices, which is fraud. When sharing my honest, truthful experience to social media, Extell threatened me. They also stalked my personal situations, and made me very uncomfortable. I experienced these terrible issues and my privacy and address was disclosed and violated multiple times. The building posted my address online and has tried to make me very uncomfortable so I move out and they can cash another $5K in move in fees from the board application, which is extremely excessive. When my family reached out to the Extell higher ups and executives, we were faced with unresponsiveness and incompetent, nasty character from founder Gary Barnett, Vice President Jason Percy, and Vice President Monique Bakoss, who all portray terrible leadership. The property manager bullies out multiple residents from their own homes just so they can keep collecting extra money. They damage tenant relationships with unit owners so owners don't issue lease renewals. I also experienced continual issues that were not resolved and a lot of my money was stolen. On top of that, the neighborhood for One Manhattan Square is beyond dangerous! Located far from everything in the middle of multiple projects, and nothing good to say about this building. I moved out and now I'm at eternal peace at my new place. Save yourself a favor and do not move here.

Unit 28K Pros: Nothing. Awful place Cons: EVERYTHING!! Primarily the AWFUL property manager Dana McFarlane. She is a BULLY and harasses multiple tenants and unit owners. Advice to landlord: Fire the property manager Dana McFarlane. She’s damaging the building’s reputation.
