The Lower East Side still carries the grit and hustle of its immigrant roots, now layered with cocktail bars, vintage shops, and some of the city's best dumplings. Weekend nights get rowdy along Orchard and Ludlow, but weekday mornings belong to the old-timers at the corner bodegas.
