Fairly clean - bugs were not a huge problem but I was on the 4th floor Live in super was great - friendly and responsive Staircase is easy and kept up well Garbage system was awful - always overflowing and had to carry bags all the way downstairs, no chute No laundry in building

You’re probably living here because it’s a block away from Washington Square park, surrounded by bars and food etc.. The super is also great. friendly and responsive. My roommate and I paid an exorbitant 15% broker’s fee to get our apartment figuring we’d hold it down for multiple years and make the broker’s fee worth it (which it never could be, the dude stood at the entrance of the building and told you what apartments were available. This service is apparently worth $6k to the tenant)…… lo and behold The landlord decided to raise the rent by 15% this year. Haggled him down to $400 increase per month… we’re moving. You've got no screens provided for windows, which need to be opened all the time in the summer if you don’t have enough air conditioning. Also no fans/airflow in the bathrooms is kind of brutal.

easy location, big windows with lots of light, decent sized rooms, cozy, never any issues with package theft or security difficult to deep clean, bathroom stays wet and gets moldy fast, doorknob locks don’t work and some of the doors don’t close entirely Be more responsive
