Unit 1613 Pros: Super responsive maintenance, friendly front desk and great amenities. I loved living at 2 Gold and would stay longer if my roommate was going to renew her lease Cons: No cons at all

Unit 2503 Pros: With 650 units and 51 floors, that easily over 1,000 residents. I've been here a month and the vast majority or residents, probably north of two thirds, are single women who could pass for 30. No strollers, no kids, no old folks. But a lot of young single women. It seems every other time I take the elevator I meet a new young woman. On those rare occasions when I ride up with a guy, I offer my observation, and invariably he confirms it and we have a good laugh. One guy said the building has a reputation as something of a sorority house building. There are worse living situations. Cons: So far, I really can't complain, at all. Really. Advice to landlord: Don't change a thing.

I’ve been in this building for 1.5 years. I have to say the maintenance team is great — for smaller issues, they’re quick to respond, within a day. MOST of the doormen are super friendly and helpful. There is one specific doorman who is especially rude though. Every time I have interacted with him, he has been snarky and passive aggressive towards me. One time, I was helping someone transport a large item. I didn’t think I would need to use the service elevator but it didn’t fit in the normal elevator. I went down to the front desk to ask if I could use the service elevator and this doorman replied, “Thanks for booking the service elevator in advance.” That passive aggressive comment was unnecessary and rude. I saw a similar review about a rude doorman and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same person. Don’t get me wrong, most of the doormen are great but this specific guy’s behavior really is unacceptable.

The elevators in the building are unreliable and you will constantly be waiting more than 5 minutes for an elevator and squeezing in with delivery people, residents and pets. The elevator service is unacceptable and TFC cornerstone does not care that it impedes our days so badly.

Pros: Maintenance response very quickly, doormen are wonderful, kind and friendly, apartment is mostly kept up and clean. Building feels safe, have been very happy living here. Amenities are nice. Cons: Often have issues with elevators. Building management/leasing office are difficult, rude and slow to respond…definitely the worst part of living here, though we haven’t had to deal with them often so not a big deal. Am only leaving because I bought a place, otherwise would choose to stay here. Gym could use some updating and laundry room could be a little cleaner. Building can get loud and common spaces can be rowdy at times since it’s definitely a younger crowd living here Advice to landlord: Leasing office/building management should take note from the 2 Gold doormen, they are what I will miss most about this building.

Pros: Great amenities: amazing rooftop and views, pool, service elevator, trash shoot, dry cleaner, friendly building staff, quick resolution of maintenance requests. Apartments have large windows. Cons: The location is ok, but not the neighborhood is not very charming compared to other NYC downtown areas.
