Unit 1A Pros: Building is nice and apartment is spacious for the rent, friendly staff and neighbors, good neighborhood Cons: Our apartment had a german roach problem and the super was extremely unresponsive in trying to handle it, had to call him multiple times to accomplish anything, also commonly saw American roaches as well, door the the garbage area did not fully shut and was dismissed by super when I asked for it to be fixed

Pros: Location is perfect Cons: Neighbors are terrible- my neighbor is a drunk and the police have gotten called on them multiple times. Another neighbor smokes often and it’s a non smoking building. Another neighbor has a crazy ex banging on the door in the early hours of the morning. People don’t follow quiet time at all. No sense of community either. People are always letting randos in, so crazy people or homeless people are sometimes able to get into the building. Packages stolen many times

Pros: The nice man who cleaned & took care of garbage was so sweet and did his best. Location is a fun neighborhood for young people. Street itself was fairly quiet relative to others in the area, and felt safe. Cons: Roaches came into ground floor apartment. Management was unresponsive when pipe burst in wall and did not address for over a month, leading to mold growth. Ground floor apartment was burning hot in the winter because heat rose through floors.

Pros: Great live-in super and very responsive. Great location tucked at the east end of Houston with a lot of great restaurants nearby — super close walk to East Village. Cons: No cons really. After I lived out my phone number was still connected to the call box downstairs. Advice to landlord: Keep up the great work.
