Pros: Beautiful prewar building. Apartments are not cookie cutter. Very nice staff. Cons: The elevators are always broken. ALWAYS. Landlords have been renovating the building for 5 years now. We still only have one working elevator, the hallways are all torn up with no new paint or carpeting. Sometimes trash can be seen in the hallway for weeks because no one bothers to vacuum. The building is way too big for the amount of staff. There is only one doorman for night hours. One of these doorman was asleep and failed to catch a homeless man from getting to the 23rd floor and sleeping in a vacant apartment for god knows how long. After all of this the landlord refused to add another doorman or a locked door with FOB access because of the COST. Advice to landlord: Get a night time doorman. Fix the hallways and NOT leave them mid renovation for over a YEAR. Get new elevators. The elevators are ALWAYS broken l. Put a water cooler in the gym WITH water.
