Maintenance people are fast to fix a problem day-of or next day. They are really nice too. The location of this building, although loud when the bars and restaurants are active, is great for close access to Soho/EV/LES, Whole Foods, and the subway. Most units have dated appliances and the shared kitchen space is small with the large counters/cabinets they added. Property owners treat tenants like they’re a nuisance. There were some winters when the heat wouldn’t work for days and they were slow to prioritize it. They were/are not collaborative with tenants that have faced financial troubles due to the pandemic. Treat your tenants with respect and you won’t have a building mostly unoccupied like what happened during the pandemic.

I liked how quiet Stanton St is. The building mangers are incredibly responsive and resolve issues quickly. The unit was spotless and freshly painted when we arrived. We had few issues with our experience overall. Some bedrooms are small with little natural little and no living room which gets typical NYC, but You've got better options in the same price range around the neighborhood. Old building with old LOUD pipes. It was hard to sleep when the radiators turned on the first few nights. The oven just did not work well and the units are tinyyyyy. Lower the price!

I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere on Stanton St. The property mgmt team was extremely attentive and addressed problems with impressive speed. The unit was spotless and newly painted upon move-in. Overall, our stay presented minimal complications. That said, certain bedrooms are quite cramped with minimal sunlight and no separate residing space—standard for Manhattan, though comparable pricing exists elsewhere in the district. The structure is older with vintage plumbing that's obnoxiously noisy. The first couple of nights were tough for sleep when the heating system activated. The stove functioned poorly and the rooms feel cramped throughout. Please reduce rent!
