Pros: I arrived from Europe and needed housing fast, and I was able to get a room within just a few days. That made a big difference since I didn’t have time to deal with the usual NYC rental process. The apartment is in a great Upper West Side location, really close to Central Park, with plenty of cafes, grocery stores, and subway options nearby. Day to day life felt very easy and convenient. The room was furnished and ready when I moved in, so I didn’t have to worry about buying anything or setting things up. Everything was pretty straightforward from move-in to living there. It worked really well as a starting point in Manhattan, especially if you’re coming from abroad and need something quick and reliable. Cons: WiFi can slow down during peak hours

Pros: I stayed here for a while and had a good experience overall. The room was comfortable, the shared spaces were kept in good shape, and the location made it easy to get around the city. While the communication channels could use some improvement, June Homes clearly cares about its tenants and works hard to resolve issues. Shortly after moving in, I had a situation with a former roommate and needed an urgent transfer. The support team handled it well, they kept me informed, followed up after calls, and coordinated internally to offer new options with quick move-in dates that fit my budget. Overall, a solid experience and a good choice, especially for anyone moving to a big city for the first time. Cons: Communication can sometimes be slow or inconsistent

Pros: The neighborhood feels safe and pleasant to walk around, even in the evening. It has a nice balance of city energy and a quieter residential atmosphere. For someone who wants to live in Manhattan but still have a comfortable neighborhood feel, this area works really well. The house itself was comfortable and had everything I needed for everyday living. My room was simple but functional, and the common spaces were convenient to use. I also liked that it was easy to meet people in the house, which made living there more interesting. Cons: Sometimes the house could get a little noisy

Pros: I found this apartment June Homes, and the whole process moved faster than I expected. From the first inquiry to signing the lease, everything was handled online and clearly explained. I didn’t have to go back and forth too much, which was important because I was relocating on a tight schedule. When I arrived, the room was ready and matched the photos. The location on the Upper West Side turned out to be a big plus. It’s close to the park, easy to commute from, and the neighborhood feels established and comfortable. I was also lucky to get what I think was the best room in the apartment — good light, enough space for a desk, and quiet at night. Overall, the move-in process was smooth, and the support team helped when I had small questions. It made settling into the city much easier. Cons: like most older Upper West Side buildings, you can occasionally hear normal building noise.

Unit 3D Pros: - Quiet - Feels private - D units get sunlight in bedroom Cons: - Cockroaches - Missing dishwasher (it was advertised to have one) - Missing LR closet and desk isn’t full-sized as advertised - No access to trash (could be my own unit’s issue) Advice to landlord: June Homes needs to be more thorough with inspection before move-ins

Pros: Great location. 1 block from central park and in a nice neighborhood of the UWS. Cons: Horrible management. They deducted our security deposit despite us leaving the apartment in better condition then when we started, not to mention the landlord is in California so how would she know what the apartment looks like. Took 6 months to get out radiator fixed. Building is very old and full of cracks. Building is right next to a restaurant and there was a 2 month span of serious rodent problems. Landlords only solution was to caulk the trimming which did nothing. While it may be a slightly cheaper price than the overall market, and the location is great, definitely don't lease here. Look around just a little more and it will be more than worth it. Advice to landlord: Have a management team that is responsible for decisions located directly in NY, not CA. Also fix the building from tipping over. It's leaning to the side and is bound to fall over within a year or so.
