Pros: the neighborhood and surrounding area is really nice, that's about it. Cons: the management is some of the worst i've ever encountered. they do nothing about rampant package theft and almost never respond to emails or other communication unless pressured. Advice to landlord: be better.

Unit 2B Pros: The only thing I like about this building is the gym and the rooftop. Cons: This has to be the most poorly managed building I've ever lived in. Building flooded with sewage and they did nothing. Used up all my personal towels to mop up sewage and then brought plumbers who made it worse. Least professional plumbers ever. Not to mention the mold in the AC, the complete lack of thermal or sound insulation. Electric bill was $400 per month in the winter because of the fact we needed to pay for heat and hot water (and the building had bad insulation so all heat was sent directly outside). Avoid this place at all costs. Advice to landlord: You are a slumlord. I hope you wake up one day and realize what oppressors you are. Tenants are not your chattle slaves. May you never find eternal peace.

Pros: There are balcony’s in every apartment. Cons: Smells like weed and cigarette smoke because you have neighbors that refuse to go outside and management will not address it. Advice to landlord: Address the issues to keep paying renters!

Pros: Apartments are decent and there are nice views of Manhattan, but that’s where the pros end. Cons: * Neighbors don’t care at all about each other. They are extremely loud and disrespectful, even by NYC standards (which are already pretty low!) * The building is full of water leaks and mold * The neighborhood itself is crazy loud, and being close to the park means involuntarily listening to weekly indie and screamo concerts in Maria Hernandez in spring and summer. Do not live here if you want any amount of peace and quiet. * Management is so difficult to deal with, and only cares about reducing costs for the landlord. * Packages are often stolen, and management will make you pay hundreds of dollars for footage if you want to file a police report. Advice to landlord: Even a sliver of compassion or consideration for the wellbeing of your tenants would go a long way.

Pros: The building had good amenities, prime location in Bushwick, never had an issue with rodents or insects, clean building with new appliances Cons: Management is hard to reach and takes way too long to get anything fixed. They don’t clean the common areas very often either

Pros: Clean apartment units. Never seen any bugs or rodents. Gym with good views and roof access! Cons: Overpriced. Many packages stolen. Car broken into and smashed open. Doors are faulty in building sometimes get locked inside and can’t leave or enter. Gets freezing in winter and smoldering hot in summer. Has a unit in the apartment but extra $$ Advice to landlord: Get a mail room!!! Fix the doors, the TVs in the gym, and get central air for units instead of the bulky units that take up half the space of the rooms. Make the apartments affordable.

Unit 1C Pros: It is clean, the bedrooms are large, the roof is nice. Cons: Management is atrocious both new and old. The roof and gym get locked after 10pm even though there’s nothing in the lease that says there are hours and there are no posted hours. Maintenance is slow to respond, one of the washers AND dryers has been out of service for over a year. The dishwasher leaks and has never been fixed despite several maintenance tickets. There is no mail room or doorman so our packages get stolen. They won’t allow us to have the code to the front door and accused us of letting in the thieves and told us to monitor the door for them and to stop buzzing in deliveries. They illegally raised our rent and did not give us the appropriate amount of time in notice. They gave us less than 60 days (the legal requirement for a lease of 12 months) notice and raised our rent $1500. We should have gotten 90 days minimum due to us being here for over two years. This is a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath and its being listed as a 5bed2bath. There are no windows in the common areas. The gym has has a broken AC unit for four years. Management has been harassing us since they raised our rent trying to get us to leave early and trying to force their way into the apartment for non stop viewings, despite it not being a legal requirement in our lease and our repeated statements of not being able to be present for viewings due to busy schedules. They haven’t listed the rental history either. They also threatened my roommate and have belittled me on the phone and literally yelled at me. Advice to landlord: Stop committing fraud and try being a decent human.
