“Amazing rooftop! Lots of natural light. Half a block from the J / M flushing station. Landlord was quick to respond and resolve issues. The front doo”

Amazing rooftop! Lots of natural light. Half a block from the J / M flushing station. Landlord was quick to respond and resolve issues. The front door keypad would sometimes freeze and then there was zero access to the building unless someone happened to be leaving at the same time you were coming in. The super was sometimes rude and not available during emergencies. Fix the front door keypad so it never malfunctions ever again.

On the positive side, I haven't spotted any rats or roaches in my unit or throughout the building, which is definitely a plus. The Auite itself is quite attractive. but, the neighbors create excessive noise. One tenant operates a music studio and constantly has visitors entering and leaving at all hours, which feels Disky. Trash accumulates in massive piles, frequently blocking the windows, and mgmt does nothing to prevent it. The super does poor maintenance work and doesn't follow through on promised sanitizations. mgmt's approach to repairs is bad—they apply temporary fixes and move on without addressing root causes. The building relies entirely on electric heating, which wasn't clearly communicated upfront, resulting in electric bills around $400 monthly. Despite these high bills, the Auite stays freezing because running the heater continuously isn't feasible. My window is damaged, allowing frigid air to seep in, yet maintenance has ignored my requests to repair it. None at the moment.

I'm grateful that I haven't spotted any rodents or insects throughout the unit or complex, which is definitely a plus. The apartment itself looks quite nice. The noise from neighbors is a major problem. One resident operates a music production space in their unit with constant foot traffic entering and leaving at all times of day and night, creating serious safety concerns. Trash frequently overflows and accumulates high, even blocking the window views, with no one enforcing proper disposal. The maintenance person does subpar work on cleaning tasks, including the supposed COVID sanitization that was promised. Rather than addressing problems properly, the mgmt just applies temporary fixes and moves on. The building lacks okay heating and relies entirely on electric heating, something that wasn't explained upfront, resulting in monthly electric bills around $400. Despite paying that amount, the unit stays freezing because running the heater continuously isn't feasible. My window pane is damaged and cold air constantly seeps in, yet maintenance has never addressed it. None at this time.
