The noise. The toxic fumes. On the Wilshire Place side, it is like a truck stop! Do not rent ANY APARTMENTS facing that side. You WILL NOT be around, touring the apartment complex, when they come to roost after 6PM. Tractor trailer trucks park in no parking zones and idle ALL night long. Neither HPD nor the sometimes security service will address it. Even as it rattles your patio door ALL. NIGHT. LONG. For @$900 for 624 ft., you can do MUCH better in the neighborhood. Forthcoming "renovations" and move-in discounts mean nothing if you can't sleep, or breathe non-toxic air. In the least, get a complex map and avoid this side, the block to the left of the complex entrance AT ALL COSTS!

When my boyfriend and I first moved here in January 2016 the apartments were under different management A few months ago, the management changed and it has been a nightmare! We cannot wait to get out of here. Here are just a few of the bad things going on: There is 0 maintenance staff [we have been asking for our dishwasher to get fixed for 2 weeks now with no luck]. The new management got rid of all maintenance workers! The office staff has no idea what the are doing. They are ------ and rude. The entrance and exit gates have not worked in a few months. [Last week we couldn't get in our complex because the gate code and key fobs did not work!] We pay so much rent and can't even get into our own place after a long day! Also, there used to be a security guard that made his rounds regularly that was great and they got rid of him. So the gates are wide open with no guard. The complex is super loud. Dogs are constantly barking in the early morning and while its awesome hearing kids play, the walls are paper thin. It sounds like the kids are playing in my living room! If you are a woman living on your own or are a family with kids, look elsewhere! This place is unsafe and not fit for families. You can find much better for the price!

The office staff is very courteous and helpful. The grounds are well kept. Unfortunately, the other residents in the complex leave alot to be desired. Complex is extremely noisy. The whole area this complex is in is poor.

Great living here! Issues are handled quick and efficient. Staff is friendly and property is clean. Resident events are hosted and they are always a lot of fun. Like they offer things for residents to be part of.

On average, I live at an apartment property for 3+ years. I was ready to go after six (6) months. The office staff is HORRIBLE. ------- is rude, unprofessional, tacky, and absolutely positively has no couth. I contacted her boss --------------- - what a joke. She was rude, condescending and her attitude can best be described as lackadaisical. I reached out to the headquarters and emailed the CEO ------------. He pushed me off on someone named -------------- who was supposed to contact me and let's just say I'm still waiting. The trash is not picked up on a consistent basis and is almost always overflowing. The parking is a joke. My guests often have to park on the street. I wouldn't live here if it was free.

So far so good. I haven't had any problems...could use a bit more parking closers to my front door that I don't have to pay for though. Other than that no complaints.

I been here for a year in a half now. And i love very bit of it. I feel safe staying here. With me getting off so late and security always around. I don't think i will move for awhile.

Office staff has gotten much better, new management seems to be more attentive & detailed, the maintenance is prompt, the community looks great! However, the buildings are a bit dirty (grounds), nothing a good power wash can't fix!.....ohhh & the website should feature the new gym equipment & new cabanans & pool furniture, looks great!

POTENTIAL RENTERS BEWARE! The only reason I did not rate 00 is because that option is not available My 15 year old daughter and I lived at Beverly Wilshire from 4/2010 until 6/2010. The place was very unsafe and I left to ensure our safety. I broke my lease and due to this property reporting me, even though I am financially secure, I am unable to rent a decent place. Here is a copy of the letter I wrote the apartment manager upon my departure. To this day, I have never had any response, other than the negative report from anyone associated with this property. Beverly Wilshire Apartments ------------- 7550 Wilshire Place Dr Houston, TX 77040 ------------- Due to the fact that I fear for the safety of my daughter and myself, I have vacated apartment ---. When I toured this property, I spoke with the leasing agent at great length about the fact that my teenage daughter would have to return to the apt by herself at the end of the school day and also be by herself all day during the summer. He assured me that this was a safe property. However, after being here these past months, this property has proven to be very unsafe. I have had great concerns since the safety meeting last week. Especially since the HPD officer advised me to buy a gun. Since this meeting, I have not been able to sleep at night. Before this meeting, I had been bullied on the sidewalk by the pool, which by the way is always full of people that I think do not even live here. On the punch list that I filled out upon moving into the apt, I stated several times that there were several screens that were either missing or torn. I requested that these be replaced immediately for safety reasons. It took seven weeks and three requests to get them replaced. On Friday of last week, a man and his three teenage sons moved into the apt above me (four grown men in a two bedroom apt?) As the manager of this property, you should have had some concerns about putting three teenage boys right next to a teenage girl (is that asking too much?) This tenant has a big dog that has been urinating off the balcony onto my balcony and everything on my balcony. I am afraid to step out on the balcony for fear of having a dog urinate on me. I sent you an email on Saturday requesting something be done about this. Apparently, you decided to ignore the request, because now the smell and the flies are atrocious. Not only that, on Saturday, two of the guys got into an argument outside with both yelling very vulgar words. I will not subject my daughter to such behavior and language. I called on Sunday morning to report a man sitting in his car staring at my apt. This man had been sitting there for thirty minutes when I called. I am still waiting for someone to get back to me on that call. The tenant across the hall told me her apt was broken into during the day. I have also learned that cars and the tires from cars are being stolen. I think your staff needs to look up the definition of the word SAFE. I am currently unemployed and will have to remain unemployed as long as I live in this apt. I WILL NOT leave my daughter here by herself. I feel that I would be remiss in my duties as a parent if I leave her unprotected in this place. When I was a senior in high school, I was raped, kidnapped and held hostage (by a neighbor) and I WILL NOT put my daughter in any situation where there is a possibility that this may happen to her and at Beverly Wilshire Apts, there is a VERY HIGH RISK of this happening. Please find the keys and gate remote enclosed. Respectly, ----------
