I am writing in about the responsiveness and dedication to quality of the maintenance staff. All of the maintenance techs are really good, especially Leo and Fernando! They do not just come in and put a band aid on the issue, but truly try to fix it. In a world of people not taking pride in their work, Leo and Fernando are not those people. Quality matters! They go above and beyond to fix all issues, not just the one you call in for. It is refreshing to see that customer satisfaction matters to them. Gustavo and the others are very good as well :)

This is my first apartment that I moved into by myself. Apartment was spotless when I moved in and staff were extremely courteous. I love that everything is modern and accessible by phone. Place has great perks including a pool, gym, and bball court. The entire move-in process was easy and painless.

We have lived at Camden over a year. The grounds are always kept clean and attractive. I am proud to say I live here. The office staff are always friendly and helpful. Pre-covid, the staff would host resident events to encourage neighbors to get to know one another and fun food trucks once a week are super cool!

My husband and myself found ourselves moving into an apartment after many years of being in our home. I can honestly say, Camden and the staff made it very easy! We have been here over 2 years, as we are about to exit, we feel sad. The apartment has been wonderful to live in, very quiet, great neighbors, and always a camden person scooting by on a cart, keeping things well taken care of. We did have a slight increase in undesirable activity, immediatly Camden hired staff to be on patrol at night. They reacted to our needs fast! Maintenance is non-issue, they always get you taken care of and office staff are great. A new gate access system recently added that works wonderfully! Fun too, often having a food truck out front, well organized, menu in advance, grab dinner when you grab your mail. Bottomline a move that started as a dread, is now just the opposite, we will miss Camden tremendously! Koti the manager is great! Koti thank you for everything.

I have been here for 17 years. Obviously I like it. It is a pretty community and very well maintained. Maintenance issues resolved quickly. Security is an issue as I suspect it is everywhere. We have had one or two murders since I have lived here. Camden has used security services at times, has security systems in the units, and added exterior cameras and lighting as well as hardware to exterior front doors to help. I use Ring doorbell and have a security monitoring service. Parking has always been an issue. Cars get vandalized and not enough spots for residents and guest. I recommend renting one of their garages, though garage rent is on the rise. Noise has never been an issue for me, but I rent an inside unit facing courtyard and off of the parking lot. More and more families with children are renting here these days so children bring some noise but no loud parties or blaring music. This is a pet friendly community so there are complaints about residence not picking up after their dogs at times. Is a nice location with easy access to the beltway and City Center shopping and dining area. But Sam Houston Pkwy is a one way street and only way in or out so if there is an accident or street light problem at Briarforest you can get delayed at times. We did NOT flood during Harvey or at any other time since I have lived here! Whew!!! Just north of us did and we had to convert Sam Houston Pkwy into a two way road from Briarforest to get in and out since we could not enter from the North. Most serious problem I have had is that pipes in upstairs units have broken and flooded my first floor unit twice since I have lived here. Maintenance came quick. Not pleasant but nothing of mine was ruined. I did have to use my renters insurance and live at a hotel for a week this last time in the midst of COVID while unit was dried out and repaired as was unlivable and unsafe. Unit is never the same after this happens, ceiling is uneven, flooring and molding is marked with caulking and just not neat appearing. Camden upgraded all units in 2014-2015 and we all had to relocate to new units when that happened. I was only one who had lived in this unit after that renovations and it was neat and nice. Not so much now with the water issue which is disappointing but certainly livable just not perfect like it was after renovation. Generally I think you would be happy here though.
