Please avoid Luxor Park/Rancho Verde. Only if you are on Section 8 will they fix what is necessary to keep that money flowing in. If you are hard up for somewhere to live you may be able to fanagle the manager into letting you stay in a vacant boarded up apartment for cheap. The only improvements they make is to the deco in the leasing office.

I just moved here and now im scared as hell, im hearing alot of rumor about the apartment and i want to move but i don't think they would give me back my money, i only been there for a week. I haven't even unpack yet, half of the apartment are boared up. Im just scared to be there at night. The office people said it have gotten alot better over there and just some of the people that stay there but the ones that say how unsafe it is got me scared as hell.

Great friendly staff, very patient I did have problems in my house but they took care of them. I was told about the property by a friend that lived here for 7 or 8 years. Totally different than it was 2 years ago. I see officers driving at night. The staff and the property have come a long way from what I saw in the past.

I stayed in these apartments in 2005-2006 and yes thier might have been violence, but thats everywhere. Even if you stayed in a house, violence is all around. So people should just stop writing bad things about luxor park. Look what happen in Belliare Tx, when a guy was shot and killed in his own yard, because the police accused him of stealing and breaking in someonelses home, but it turned out to be his parents house. That guy was just getting off of work trying to get in his house. So like i said its everywhere around the united states, not just acreges homes.

I am a uping single working male.. that made the biggest mistake of moving here... been here 5 months and im abt to break my lease.... and ruin my credit but its so worth it... ITS UNSAFE, TERRIBLE .. PLEASE PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE... I GPT MY DOOR KICKED IN AN A BIG 60 INCH TELEVISION STOLE OUT OF IT ...and i stayed on the second floor....so they rolled a big 60 inch tv down 2 flights of stairs in broad daytlight and everyone around me said they havent seen anything.. sont move here

I was a single mom living there with my elementary age son in a one bedroom apt. My neighbors were cordial with me and I with them. I had a great parking spot right in front of my door which was ideal. I stayed to myself and had no problems at all. I was comfortable with letting my son play outside also. I would actually move back there, but the only draw back for me is the H.I.S.D school distrcit and the T.V. Max cable company.

I Just Move From These Apt and the violence over their is crzy if you aint ready to hear gun shots n people breaking into stuff over their then i dont recommend these apt for nobody. I was their when the officer got shot and before then was their when that New Orleans Dood got shot over their near the front by the park Most Of the Apt they have it Shut down.They are boarding most of the Apt over their! I didnt mind bein over their cause i didnt have 2 worry about nothin i knew too many people....But yeah i just thought i would give yall a heads up on how these apt is.

This is a very serious and important message to Section 8 voucher seekers. Please don't waste your time with this property. You will have a serious problem it your unit don't pass inspection. And please believe me it will not. Bats in the walls, roaches beat you into the house and nothing will get fixed. You just might have to play maintance man or Martha Stewart... Don't Do it!!! You family is at risk. And let me tell you about the office personal....They have thrown out residents belongings without an eviction notice. No court proceeding at all and no notice. The managers roam at night steeling from other residents.I had to move out from this form this unsafe place... Officer manager Inez, assistant jasmine, and little mermaid stephine... You all are hurting the community....

I have seen assistant manager Jasmine, and Inez thrown renters entire apartment out on the curb. No notice because they don't want to file for a eviction. This will cost the owners too much money. I say please if you are a victim of such. File, file, File a law suit againts this complex. They have to know that we must follow the laws of the land. They are not the law. It is illegal to file a eviction on a resident for utilities. They know that. They just think you don't. I say do your homework and file a lawsuit against them. They never clean up move-out apartments. The apartment have roaches in the electric sockets. They should have name the place "Roach Tavern". And don't forget it is many colony of bats in the walls and ceilings. Please this is a plea.... If you value your family... RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN PAST GO!!! DON'T STOP!!! DON'T BE FOOLED... THIS IS UNREAL>>>> THE CITY NEED TO SHOUT THIS DUMP DOWN...

I used to live there in late 2007. The apt. were ok..some violence every now and then and the apt. staff was normal..but now i wouldnt recommend these apt. to anyone now..the crime rate has gone WAY UP..an officer was just killed in broad daylight..they need more police officers over there 24/7
