If I could give this apartment zero stars I would. Living here was the worst experience at an apartment I've ever had. I want to give a shout out to the office manager Perla who was probably the worst person I've ever encountered. Let me clarify I work at a hospital where they do drug test and have a no tobacco policy. I do not even drink. My car was stolen off the apartment property while I was at work(I work the night shift). It was the weekend so I left a voice mail for the office letting them know what happened. I wake up Monday probably mid afternoon and I have a note on my door implying I am a drug dealer. I go to the office and I ask why I had the note on my door and they accuse me of being a drug dealer and that's why my car was stolen off property??? They eventually realize the claim is laughable. I try to get information like if crimes have been occurring on property and they say nothing of the short is happening. So a couple weeks later or a week later maintenance comes in to change the locks of my apartment and the maintenance man starts gossiping with me about how there has been breaking and entering at the property where the same group of guy have been breaking into vacant apartments peeing everywhere and living blunt packages everywhere. The office of course denies all of this. My rental that I had Bc my car was stolen was gone through by these guys as I walked down my stairs I called the apartment people and the police. I watched them break into a vacant apartment. So throughout this I get in touch with a woman named Rachel who told me the owners refuse to put up cameras have a security guard or take any measures even with residents at stake. That's my personal experience, but as a whole they advertise that they have a gym it's closed, the pool was never open when I lived there, the office staff is really rude. One of the maintenance men has been nicknamed the ----- by a group of older women that live there. The apartment has plumbing issues. The water is either super burning hot or super cold (when we moved in the office said be very careful our water burns teheh) the apartment parking lot floods. I am missing a lot of details of what exactly happened because it would take forever to type about the nosey neighbors that put their face against the glass to look in our apartment and the racism my African American friends experience when visiting. I really really with all my heart say moving here would be a mistake!! Horrible experience that has left me with panic attacks and in dept because my car was stolen and the apartment refused to take any responsibility. They waived a late fee on rent but you think they would do something after my car was stolen. They tried really hard to get me to pay the fees I had to go over the office staffs head to speak to Rachel. I mean a lot of money has gone to my car being stolen! I whole heartedly blame the owners for their negligence!

Now named 40FiftyFive Braeswood Apartment Homes, this community with affordable prices, is a hidden gem inside the loop. It is accessible to freeways, shopping, and restaurants within a few minutes. The resident will enjoy both spacious and abundant floor and closet space. Of course assigned parking is included. This complex is quiet, well maintained and pet friendly. The management team composed of manager Theresa and Assistant Manager Angel, assure the tenant of stress-free living. They are the epitome of customer service. The maintenance team led by Pedro ensures resident's satisfaction. 40FiftyFive Apartment Homes is an excellent choice for living inside the loop at reasonable rates.

It's now named 40FiftyFive Apartment Homes. It's a great place to live. It's very quiet and yet close to everything within the loop. Minutes from the medical center as well as the galleria. Angel and Teresa, the complex manager's, are awesome!!

40FiftyFive office staff is very nice (especially Theresa!) and very efficient with your needs. Maintenance request are fulfilled promptly. Pretty quiet complex. Would recommend! Sylvia

The community is neat, calm and clean. The people at the leasing office are very friendly. Maintenance requests are taken care immediately. I love living here.

???? Before we moved out, we were offered gift cards to write positive reviews of this if you see 5star untrue!!!! Take a walk around this dump & the abandoned shopping centers and storesaround it. Dont even have to get out of can see for yourself. Glad to finally graduate and get the hell out of here. Have to beg office 5 times st keast to get anything done.Rent is way too much for place thst hasnt been updated since before I was born.! Shree and Rsmi.

The Felix or Forty55 which it is called now has been great. Very quiet and convenient for me! The town homes are just what i need, two bedrooms that are upstairs and great for an office or guest room! It's easy to find parking at the end of the day and is a good location to med center, parks, NRG stadium, etc. The office is quick on maintenance requests and Theresa in the office is nothing less than Excellent! I only wish the kitchen was a little bigger.

Now named Forty Fifty Five but Dont be fooled. It is the same dump held together w duct tape and bondo. Changed hands multiple times but Not a Single Owner put a dime into this place. Can hear everything thru walls.Falling apart, filthy, terrible condition...No amenities, prices too high, noisy, no community...convenient location but thats it! Glad I finally moved out.

We're do I start , The Manger Theresa is horrible an which she stay on property she do what she wants. She Do Not care about residents. She violate who she wants very unfair . But should be more people like Angel, she don't forget work orders an knows how to multitask . Property is a little old but not all apartment units are bad . Based on how well residents take care of them . Price is good for location ., they do upgrade units . I do feel safe here . I'm upset I sign a 14 month lease., I can't deal with a manger who willing to do what's she wants because you get on her about on going issues .. I would stay if I didn't have to see her (which she stay on property ) if we had better manger .. Don't waste your time . Residents come first an that's not the case ..

This old ugly complex with paper thin walls, rusty washrooms, flooding parking lot and shabby apartments is best avoided. Ugly grey green walls with popcorn ceilings and plastic blinds. Brown lineoluem, dirty cheap carpet,substandard appliances. Dog poop and garbage all over grounds. Neighbors use balconies to store garbage, furniture,laundry, etc. Rotted carports, cracked & holey driveway. Office woman is crooked & dishonest.Maintenance is untrained and quality of slow repairs awful. Residents tend to be very loud or antisocial. Glad we are moving.
