I have lived here six years. I was promised bathroom upgrade. New flooring and paint nothing has been done. These are very nasty apartments. I have green mold on my patio and my front door and walkway. The people sit out all night doing drugs fighting. We've had a very recent murder. Several burglaries. I got bed bugs from other tenants. It was a nightmare. The parking is very bad. There are cracks all up and down the sidewalks and parking lot where water just stands and you ruin your shoes. I have holes in kitchen and bathroom floors. I have holes and patches in my carpet. The kitchen drawer is broke. Have several leak stains on walls and ceiling. There are Pitt Bulls here even tho they are not allowed. The green algae mold is sooo bad on my patio walkway and doors. They have never cleaned ducts in apartment since I've been here so it just blows dirt out with the air conditioner or heater. The security lights are constantly out. There are so many people that just "stay" here without being on the lease so that calls for a lot of felons and some one bedroom apartments have six and seven people living in them. I have not been able to move because I'm on a fixed income but the drugs and fights and condition of property is very inexcusable. Especially since I've been here six years never late on my rent and constantly scared to go outside my own apartment.

Office staff so unprofessional and rude. I have lived there for 3 months and someone was already killed. Drug dealers and prostitutes everywhere. Car stickers are pointless visitors still park where residents should and never get towed. Horrible horrible place, I'm buying a house soon can't wait to get out of there (my only option after a broken lease). The water bill is RIDICULOUS. The manager is a total -----(ugly ----- needs to get laid so maybe she can be in a good mood) only friendly/nice person there is Erika.

I have never had a problem with the property manager in fact she is really nice to me, Merisol is ok she has her times of when she wants to be nice and other times when she isn't. Now that new individual Rebecca who is in the front has been a total ----- every single time I had to go in there, just never friendly. I haven't had any problems with my unit or with other residents but I assume that is because I also still live in the front of the apartments.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Both Donna and Marisol are rude. When they come to your door, they are banging on it like they are the police. Before you can even get to the door, they start to unlock it! Donna is the worst because she tries to come off as this sweet OLD lady but really she is very inconsiderate and ignorant. She will talk bad to you without knowing anything personal going on in your life! They will lie to about why the rent goes up as well. As for the maintenance..they suck too! I might as well fix everything myself because it seems like they hire anyone that can rig up anything. When you call to put in a work order for maintenance, you have to call before three or they will not come the same day! (Per Marisol) that is a lie because I have called 9 in the morning and they will not come until the following day! Oh yeah as for the appearance of the apartment complex is deceiving. If you notice by the front office it looks nice. But once in come into the apartment, there is more dirt patches than grass. I don't even know why they have the lawn men come and cut the grass because there is no grass to cut...you don't notice the difference. The potholes in the apartment are bad! You can tell they get the maintenance men to fill the pot holes because the potholes come back in two weeks! At night the lighting is very dark (just make sure you have someone walking with you)! As for the raggedy gates... I have broken two keys trying to open up the gates especially after it rains! When it rains...it floods throughout the apartment so bad, you can not walk on the sidewalks. The exterminator sucks because he come in and spray a couple of corners and ithe roaches would still come back. My utility bill was $120 or higher monthly because we are paying for others excessive usage of water. Oh yeah the walls are thin too because I have been in my room and heard many arguments and possible abuse. I am doing you a favor... Again... Do not move here....trust you will break you lease on the first day!

RUN AWAY RUN AWAY RUN AWAY!!!!! This apartment was a last resort because of the cheap rent but never again. First night in the apartment roaches ..called the next day. One of the incompetent office member ."are you sure?" Like really! First warning sign ....next month after I called for the exterminator im prettybsire he never came water bugs.. ewwww... and I clean EVERYTHING with bleach in the night take out trash the whole nine and yet I have water bugs coming thru the vents!!! When it comes to the night I run inside because of all the delinquents hanging around...stayed home one day only to find they are out during the day as well just standing around......Lets not talking about the water bill....first they said im getting chargeda greenery fee.. for the dirt and sand that line the place then after about 2 months of complaining they finally told me the truth... .even if I dont even stay in this dump and dont use the water....im being charged for everybody else's water usage! Thats just stupid!!!! This place needs to get bulldozed and the office staff fired they are rude and just unprofessional. They harassed me for rent when THEY misplaced it.....the only good thing is the maintenance man..hes cool enough and efficient. ..if I could give this place a negative score I would....DONT MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

Just reading the reviews.....WOW!!!!!.....What can I say but Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!....Its obvious the 5 yes comments are indeed from the management that, from what it seems, don't have time to tend to the grounds but somehow make time to post yes out of the 50 no's. Again I say Thank you! I was going thru the pics and literally thought to myself, "self....for the rate, this looks too good to be true!" And whata know....I feel like I'm 5 years old again finding out that Santa ain't real...I mean that's how disappointed I am!!! Dont worry Hartford...cancel my appointment! I will not be making a trip out there!

Stay far away from this place. I have never had to deal with such rude people in my life, and i put people in jail for a living. Donna and Marisol (or how ever you spell it) feel the need to talk to you any way they like. i have had to deal with them out right lieing to me and to people who have called for renting info. The people just hanging around selling drugs all day and night is out of control and the water bill is more then i paid when i owned a home. i was thinking about moving one night and after hearing gun shots i knew it was time to leave. DO NOT RENT AT THUGFORD PARK!!!!!

I have lived here almost a year and my ONLY complaint truly is that my water bill is RIDICULOUS. I live in a 1 bedroom and my bill is consistently between $60-70. If they could somehow fix that, I would love to stay here. The front office made efforts to know me on a first name basis and my maintenance is ALWAYS fast and dependable. I love that around holidays the staff does little celebrations by the pool which is a great way to meet neighbors!

I had a very bed experience here. Me and my husband walked in and were intrested in apartment here. We informed the Agent that we both had one broken lease many years aog and our credit was less that perfect but we had good rental history in the recent years. The agent said they will work with us. We gave our application fee and she said they will call us. Later that day, their Asst. Manager called us, (her name was Marisol Guel) She said they would not work with us because my husband had too many addresses on his credit report. She kept calling out addresses that were not apartments, but the residence were our family members lived. She kept saying she had to see if we broke the lease there but those were houses that we did not own. I tried to tell and she kept saying that she was talking and not to talk over her. I asked for her manager's name and she said her name was Melissa and she ended the call. When I got home, I went online and the was no Melissa listed as Manager, her name was Donna. I do not recommend going there and loose your money on aplication and being treated as inqrate. She was very rude and in no way wanted to hear anything. I made a report to Texas consumers compliant system. If they treated us this bad as an applicate, I would hate to see if we lived their.

I'm very satisfied with these apartments. Remote entrance, always parking available w/in a reasonable distance, real quick response on repairs, armed security, polite staff, etc ... No complaints here. It's a quiet complex for my family ... I'd recommend it to anyone! Especially w/ how reasonable the prives are.
