I called Camden Travis Street my home for nearly 7 years, and during that time, I experienced a significant transformation in the community. While it initially seemed like a fantastic place to live, recent safety concerns have tarnished its reputation. Here's my candid review of Camden Travis Street. **Pros:** 1. **Location:** Camden Travis Street boasts a prime location in Midtown, with easy access to various dining, entertainment, and shopping options. 2. **Amenities:**The community offers a range of amenities that cater to residents' needs, including a fitness center, pool, and well-maintained common areas. These amenities contributed to a comfortable living experience. **Cons:** 1. **Safety Issues:** Unfortunately, the most significant drawback of Camden Travis Street is its worsening safety situation. Over the last couple of years, incidents of residents getting mugged in the parking garage, vehicles being stolen from the supposedly secure gated garage, packages getting stolen from locked mailboxes, and even packages being stolen from doorways have become far too common. The lack of security measures has allowed these issues to persist, making it a concerning place to live. 2. **Vandalism and Noise:** I also had to contend with constant noise disturbances from neighboring units, making it difficult to find peace and quiet in my own home. Furthermore, the vandalism of cars in the garage is an issue that management has not effectively addressed. **Conclusion:** Camden Travis Street was once a thriving community that offered convenience and comfort in a prime location. However, my experience soured due to the significant safety concerns that have emerged over the years. Incidents of theft, vandalism, noise, and the odor of marijuana have become all too common, and the lack of effective security measures is concerning. For those considering this community as their future home, I would strongly advise conducting thorough research and weighing the pros and cons carefully before making a decision. As someone who lived here for years, I cannot confidently recommend Camden Travis Street in its current state.

I love this community! So quiet and in the middle of everything. Lots to walk to for eating and festivities! There is even a new music venue across the way that is roof top. Office staff has always been helpful any time I call or stop by.

This place was not what it was advertised to be at all. Both of my cars were vandalized three times here and one was stolen. Luckily , the police recovered it after a month but I was told by management “ Well crime happens everywhere.” I had a neighbor get their door kicked in and it’s amazing there is still no security at the entrance gate. I watched renter after renter move out during the COVID lock down and still Management pressed everyone for rent. I truly would never recommend staying here. There are plenty of other options. ------ at the front desk was extremely rude and never a joy to talk to. Worst attitude ever!!! Camden needs to step their game up and adhere to their guests requests for much better security. Stop being cheap!!!! Sadly, the standard of living you advertised for 1600$ was horrible. Warmest regards, Your Former Tenant

Camden Travis Street should be on everyone's list if they're looking for apartments. The entire place is clean, well-maintained and filled with caring staff. If you go to look at them (which you should) ask for Nubia, she helped me look at a few different units and answered every question I had and made the whole experience awesome and easy.
