Hidden Gem! I've been in Houston for over a decade now and lived in apartments the entire time, and this is by far the best. The service is great, the maintenance team is quick, responsive, and does a good job. They are pet friendly and have an alert security guard on the property after hours much of the time. They are pet friendly and we have great neighbors-- since I have been here, I have not even heard of any crimes on the property. The people here are working-class and good people. The kids love it, and not just because of the free donuts every Saturday morning... I feel safe allowing the kids to play outside. We plan to live here until we either get a house or move from Houston-- This is just the best apartment we've lived in for a very long time! I almost forgot, I have two kids and a dog and my neighbors have 6 kids and a dog-- but we almost never hear each other. The apartments are well insulated and in very good shape. The water pressure is good and the air conditioning doesn't drive-up the electricity bill too high. I simply love this place!

I have lived here for close to 5 years in 2 different units. These apartments are well kept for the most part. They try to update the units to keep competitive with the newer apartments in the area. The manager and leasing agent have worked here for as long as I lived here. They do really make an attempt at providing good customer service. Most repair requests are done the same day or by the next business day. Cheryl and Allison both try to get to know all the tenants which helps provide a sense of community. There have been times in which we had a difference in opinion, but once Cheryl understood the issue it was quickly resolved. The maintenance staff is also friendly and professional. If they are unable to complete your maintenance request in one visit, they will provide you with a timeline on which it will be completed. My neighbors are friendly but not too noisy or nosey. The only thing I would change is the price of the rent but compared to other rentals in the loop it is still affordable. So if you are considering renting in the Heights please check this complex out before settling somewhere else. Kim C

The positive reviews on this site have obviously been written by the management. I have lived here for three years and will be moving when my lease is up. They repaired the roof of my bldg and my ceiling caved in causing destruction. When they FINALLY came to fix they patched it and it looks ------. My ceiling in my bathroom has a leak and is growing mold. I have told them several times and it still is not fixed. The railing on my balcony is peeling paint and I have a problem with roaches. The manager is extremely rude and unaccomodaring!! I hate this place!!!

My wife and I moved here about a year ago. Maintenance is awesome. You put in an order and he arrives about 1 hour later. The girls in the office have been extremely accomodating and very nice. It' s the best place to live in the Heights. Great location and no I don't work in the office. lol It's sad that people like the guy before me wrote such an awful email. Must be an ex employee. Because the truth is we are all happy at Woodside. At least my side of the property. Woodside Village Rocks. Thanks, JR
