The management teams acts as tho they are not there for the tenants. They are rude. They barrow money form tenants They do not return calls. When the change out managers they are just moved to sister properties.

I lived at The Abbey at Enclave for three years, and while I initially moved in seeking an affordable option, my experience over time has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. From the beginning, I felt the leasing process was unnecessarily burdensome. Even if your credit or rental history meets the basic standards, they still require you to go through a third-party service for a deposit—essentially making you pay an additional full month’s rent upfront, on top of first month’s rent. Renters are also required to use a specific insurance provider chosen by the complex, which limits flexibility and adds financial strain. Despite the amount residents pour into this complex monthly, very little of that seems to be reinvested into the property. The exterior is unkept, with minimal landscaping and an overall rundown appearance. But beyond cosmetic concerns, there are more serious issues. In my unit, I experienced persistent black mold—likely due to the poor ventilation and age of the buildings. Roaches are a widespread issue here; even with regular cleaning and pest control, the infestation remains, affecting multiple units across the property. Maintenance was slow, and repairs often felt like temporary patches using old appliances from other units rather than proper replacements. I had to deal with a malfunctioning stove that caught fire, and after two replacements (both from other units), the third one only barely worked. My refrigerator also had to be replaced, and the new one still had a broken ice maker that was never fixed. I’ve experienced multiple instances (over 60+) where my water or electricity was shut off—sometimes with no real explanation. During storms, even minor ones, power outages are frequent. While some of that may be due to city infrastructure, it consistently affects this property more than others in the area. Safety is another major concern. The complex has no security presence whatsoever, despite multiple reports of car break-ins and gun violence on the property. While management has sent emails cautioning residents to be alert, there has been no action taken to provide real security or protection. In my time here, I’ve never seen a single security guard. I understand that affordability is important—however, I urge you to weigh that against what you’re really getting. Constant outages, health hazards like mold, unsafe surroundings, and a general lack of care from management are the reality. I would not recommend this complex to anyone.

A/C units do not cool properly. Multiple requests to fix to no avail. Roach infestation even after multiple pest control requests. Dog poop and trash everywhere. No one picks up after their pets and lots of outdoor cats running around. Management is unresponsive. Doesn't return phone calls or reply to emails. They are rude and extremely unhelpful. No security, gates are always broken. Murder in the parking lot summer of 23.

I see all these great reviews and wonder just how long they have actually been living here before reviewing. When you sign your lease you are strongly encouraged to leave a 5 star rating. I have lived here for almost 4 years and although the maintenance staff is excellent, the management is not. If they don’t like you you will be harassed and retaliated against. Not to mention that the laundry facilities on the west side of the property haven’t worked in well over a year. They sent out a bulletin about how by the end of march we will have all new machines like that’s some great news when it should have been taken care of over a year ago. There are car break ins, car jacking, murders and mailbox break ins too with absolutely no security and only a handful of cameras to protect the office only. Maybe not the worst place to live but certainly not a good enough value for the money.

The employees are are amazing. They are so kind, attentive and thoughtful. I love all the amazing events the new management team has been hosting for us, the best one was the Christmas even they recently have. I have zero complaints. Great property and prices.
