Ever since I moved into Augusta Court Condominiums, the management and staff have been quick to return residential inquiries and prompt in maintenance care. Very friendly and energetic staff along with management. I’m a happy resident.

I have lived here over 8 years and since new management this place has gone down. I can not wait to move out. I do not feel safe here. My car has got stolen and I still don't feel safe. Please get new management or just look at review. So sad ??

If you're looking at this place, I would advise you not to sign a lease here. This was once a great place to live, but after MLDC took over they have completely ruined it. Aesthetically the updates that have been done look horrendous it's now a concrete jungle since they ripped out every bit of greenery we had and how they run this place is equally bad. Maintenance is pretty much non-existent, the office hours change weekly. We'll receive an email saying the office will now be open on Saturdays then literally not even a few hrs later they send another email out saying they'll be closed on Saturdays. Its back and fourth on the office hours. They have no idea what they are doing. This management is not your typical apartment management like Gables, Greystar. etc. Its a small 3rd party family run team that's only been around since 2018. Its so bad here there has been a mass exodus of residents, its crazy how many left this small complex. Most units sit vacant for months and I've seen some sit vacant over a YEAR. yes a YEAR. Have you ever heard of that happening elsewhere? probably not. The 4th floor balconies aren't covered so we used to have retractable awnings but they took them down so now the balconies have no cover on the 4th floor, its like they want the residents to hate them! They've also added unnecessary charges like valet trash which isn't needed since every floor has trash chutes. The parking garage is disgusting, its in desperate need of a power wash as well as the walkways, there is some type of weather proof coating that is literally ripping up. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place. This management is a disaster. The rent here is ridiculous now, you can find much better options with similar size units in the area for far less.

I've enjoyed my time here at Augusta under the former management company (LSR) and the friendly staff that was here. But it has gone down hill since new the new management company (MLDC) has taken over. While they have made appearance changes trying to make it nicer, it does nothing for me. What does is how they run this place. The wait time for maintenance is horrible as I had to wait weeks, almost a month for my issues to resolve. The unnecessary service requirements they added on increases cost is part of their program: Valet trash ($25) and Pest control ($5). Who needs valet trash when the trash chute is close?! And yes, there's a penalty fee for leaving the bin out. Think there's a fee for online rent payment as well from the site they use. Why pay a fee just to pay rent online?! MLDC ruined the enjoyment of living at Augusta Court. It's no wonder there's a high turnover of tenants as I've seen so many people and moving trucks come and go. It's a reason why I've seen full parking garage in the past to open parking spaces now. And be warned, the underground parking garage does flood! Cars were lost on Tax Day 2016 and Hurricane Harvey. Floods have happened on heavy storms and will happen again. MLDC only cares about money, not tenants. Be smart, avoid this place! It's just not worth it

This new management is inherently trying to blind its residents with excessively bright LED's. The light fixtures have no proper shield so the light is scattered everywhere creating an intense glare. It's BLINDING which creates a security risk since it distorts your vision. Our original lights/fixtures had a proper shield. After numerous complaints they supposedly dimmed them but you can't tell a difference. Its made it extremely uncomfortable living here and the fact your bedroom window faces the extreme lights. Get rid of the penitentiary looking lights and replace with with a proper shielded light fixture and soft LED's and this place would actually look decent. As you can tell from the pics its not well executed lighting, you can clearly see the light rays and glare.

This place was decent until new management came. They are uncaring and very unprofessional. They just want your money and do not care if you are comfortable in your unit. The apartments are infested with bugs of all sorts. There are car break ins even though we have a gate that requires a remote key to enter and 8 cameras around the property. Do not move here you have been warned. Take your money else where.

Unfortunately I moved here just before the change in management. The new management could care less about us residents and have no idea what they’re doing here. A new woman working here, who I’ve never seen before, unlocked my door, and walked into my apartment as I was getting into the shower and scared my children! She entered my apartment to give me a notice to vacate because they had not received my rent payment which I later learned had been applied to the wrong unit by them! On top of them just waltzing into our apartments, the gate to access our units is supposed to be open only during office business hours, but remains open through the night for anyone to just walk in. When I moved here, the old management had a security guard who patrolled the grounds every night, but new management let him go. Now we have no security here. I feel extremely unsafe here especially after our vehicles have been vandalized. Each floor conveniently has a trash shoot for us to throw our trash into, but new management has decided to charge us for unnecessary trash valet service which has only made our complex look trashy! Construction workers who are here everyday have been throwing trash in the valet trash cans and I’ve even seen them drinking on the job! This place is now a dump. Don’t let them sell you on all the upgrades they’re planning to add here. They are careless. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

This place was an amazing place to live until the new management took over. It's like they found all the stuff that made the place cool and decided to ruin it. Valet trash just leaves trash everywhere and attracts bugs, there is non-stop construction that starts at 7AM, they've removed the normal lights that used to be in the walkways and replaced them with the brightest possible lights they could find so now it shines into bedrooms. They also just removed the awnings on the 4th floor balconies. I actually asked them about that and they told me they planned on replacing them with new ones. Then they put letters on our doors saying that replacing the awnings wasn't in the budget but we were free to buy our own. There is constantly trash left on my balcony from construction (that isn't being done on my balcony) and they even started painting the outside of my apartment and then just stopped halfway and left it like that. I feel like I got screwed over because I signed my lease right before the change in management and had I known it would be this bad I never would have done so. I will not be renewing my lease unless there is a dramatic change which I don't see happening.

Since new management has taken over, they seem to not care about current residents. They think having a trash valet service is something of an asset but if someone puts out the trash on the wrong day they fine you $25. Btw, this is something we will have to pay for and it seems we have no choice. We had a potential flooding situation a few months ago due to a hurricane. We have underground parking and in the past it floods. We get a warning that they will lock the gates and all cars who haven't moved to the next door bank parking, all cars left will have to suffer if it floods. That note was posted the night before and many never saw this. 29 cars left in underground garage. Luckily it didn't flood. I called and asked for someone to come and open the garage. Left a message and no one returned the message. I have two cars that could have flooded. I paid my rent every month on time and have been a loyal resident. They changed to an online payment system. I paid it and of course for some reason they said they didn't receive it. I received three emails stating that I'm late and a late fee will be placed on top of the rent. I had to show I paid and even then I received another email stating I hadn't paid. I do not recommend anyone to stay here under the current uncaring management. They are truly disgusting and which we had our former management team back. I won't be staying here after my rental agreement is over.
