While there are some good things about this place like the dedication of the maintenance crew at attempting to fix problems there are far too many problems for this to be a great place. It has recently been acquired by TI and their focus has consistently been on the wrong problems. The roaches are out of control in some of the buildings, but because there was a change in management they did not sign a pest control contract for over a month. The roaches eat through the caulk, live in the walls, and have no fear of humans, so they are truly terrible. About once a month, there is a weekend where the boiler goes out despite being told it has been replaced multiple times. The lead maintenance man does what he can but it always some broken part that requires a plumber. The A/C is many of the units is underpowered and they will just lower your thermostat to something super low and tell you that it does work after all. The visitor parking now requires you to enter data on the app in order for your friend's car's not to be towed. The new management company has started installing security cameras instead of focusing on those problems. There is also a high turnover of staff. In the past two months, they have fired people who have been with us for years. The pool is opened for a lot of the year which is nice and they accept much larger dogs than other apartments. It gets really old dealing with roaches and no hot water though.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! First off pool is rarely open so if you're looking for a place with a pool this isn't it. If something breaks, have waiting even if you keep telling them, so we're trying to break our lease. New manager keeps giving a run around about if we can or not saying "we'll call you today, tomorrow, next week, etc". It NEVER happens. Oh! And they threw the old manager under the bus the day she leaves, VERY professional.

If I was to put a report in today it would get fix today(literally). They take care of us residents. Neighbors are friendly. Kids friendly environment.

I moved into the apartments January 2016. I want to say that each time I have called or sent in a service request, the staff responded by the next day. The staff is incrediable. They remember your name when you go into the office and are very friendly to everyone. I was surprised how quiet and safe I have felt. I recommend these apartments.

Formerly The Villages of Red Oak, the best thing here is price. The place is old and it shows despite a new paint job. There are roaches, the pavement is a disaster, and three buildings have burned down over the past few years (one was arson, but regardless of cause newer apartments are likely more fire safe). The group that took over and changed the name of the place about 3 years ago promptly renovated the main office and empty units, but made none for current residents outside of exterior paint and adding Xfinity hook ups. Despite "substantial renovations" being advertised, the unit you end up getting may not be the freshest. Staff is so-so. You have to stay on top of them. They have a professional and polite demeanor, but are too often slack in doing the actual work. Service requests will sometimes be marked complete despite not being resolved. They withhold repairs of certain issues (carpet and tub repair chiefly) for lease renewal. They charge a monthly pest control fee for contracted exterminators, but can and do use their own staff to perform pest control. They can be slow in calculating the final bill for your rent so be careful paying early, even early in the day on the first of the month. There are $40-50 of extra fees each month so add that to the cost of the unit you're interested in. Amenities are run-of-the-mill. There are tennis courts but if you or your kids are more interested in playing other sports then you/they won't be able to do so here. The laundry facilities are cramped and have coin-op machines that sometimes don't dry thoroughly. The gates and doors in the fence surrounding the property are beat up and slow, but they work. Newer additions like grills and a fitness center are nice, but if you're working and this is your price range, you may not have the time and/or energy to make use of them and might prefer decent pavement or other basics instead. The Bridges is okay at best. The location and prices are fine, but if you can afford something newer, do so as no renovation short of gutting the buildings will bring this place up to the modernity found elsewhere. If you're just getting by you should look around, as there are cheaper places of similar age and amenities where you won't have upwards of $40 in fees and where the pavement won't add wear on your car. No matter what you can afford you should comparison shop before settling on this place. The rates will continue to climb and the buildings will continue to age.

If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. The inside of the apartment/layout is nice! They're big and spacious. But that's the only good thing! My apartment turned out to be roach infested when I got my keys. Months later there was a bedbug infestation! I don't know how much money I spent on treatments. It was the worst mistake moving here. There's no respect on parking. Residents parking in visitors parking spots just because they're closer. Noise level is horrible. Maintenance crew are nice and very helpful and people at leasing office too. But seriously, the apartment need to be remodeled! All of them! Remove the carpets and everything inside!! Nobody should live like that! ... remodel everything Not just the ones that burned down! worst thing is to have to throw everything you owe away because of the roach and bug infestation!

I would never ever recommend my worst enemy to move here...I cant wait for my leasr to be up next month...it has been a nightmare living here..ni management is disrespectful and horrible...the apartment complex is old and everything is always breaking down and not getting repaired properly.. it is a roach haven...I have only lived hear almost a year and have had to have my apartment exterminated every 3 months.. we have recently been without hot water from Friday of last week until today which is Monday and still no hot water. .management turns off their phones so it goes to recordings as not to hear from the tenants. ..run ...run...do not...I repeat ..do not move here!!

I am taking the time to give a review about this apartment complex because I read some of the reviews and all I can say is wtf. This will be my last year unfortunately because ill finally have the help to buy a home. Anyone that has been here since this place was called "Red Oak place" are going to understand what I am bout to describe. I had an aunt that lived here back in 2007, then this place was an absolute Dump. people were racist, it was unsafe, maintenance did not care and don't go to the office then because they sure didn't care. (there was an incident then, but ill let you Google that one because this review is about my current opinion) I cant recall the exact time but eventually boom "The villages of Red Oak" after that incident. I cant lie that staff tried more than the previous but they gave up too easy like a couple of weeks into managing, They always wanted to just patch something and not really fix it. they used to hang out with some of the bad residents so a lot of people would take matters into their own hands and fight over.. well nothing, ignorant stuff. police was out here a little less but it was still bad. Then "The Bridges of Cypress Creek" happen sometime in 2014. Christopher Halliburton was the face I remember the most about that year. They actually introduced a criteria about how to be accepted into the apartments and stuck with his guns and staff. LOL a lot of people hated him, but he changed this place. I don't think anyone out here feels unsafe. during this time there was some careless people living in an apartment and a fire burned one of the buildings, Sad to see but his staff witch is who I know now pulled through to make sure people had a place to live and start over.. .resident's!! yes residents came out to help something I have never seen here as well as the "Red Cross" assistance. Anyone that doubts what im talking about talk to the older resident that have been here, Go to the Office met Claudia met Sergio and talk to Candice that's the Trio that wants to help you find a livable place and wont BS you around. The maintenance people i haven't seen the usual people, recently but the new guys wave at me when i see them. Once again the changes are visible. There is gym, the is a park for anyone that likes out doors you can cook on propane grills. People that Christopher brought are making a change and all i can say is, people that have a bad review was probably doing something that they shouldn't of been doing and probably got evicted or something, that's none of my business but that's my opinion. Thank You for helping me enjoy the last of my stay. THX Everyone.
