It's a very quiet community. The first couple months here has been very good. The office staff are very courteous and do their very best to resolve any issues you may have. The pest control and maintenance is very active and grounds are well-kept.

Nice apartments tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Moderately priced compared to other apartments in the area. Terry-Hershey park is just a stroll down the road. Staff is nice and landscaping looks great. Maintenance is pretty fast. Parking can be a problem some days, although most of that may have been because of the holidays. There were quite a few water shut-offs in the last couple of months, but they were working on putting in new piping and raising the foundation of some of the apartments. I believe that's all done now. I think it's a great place to live and very family friendly.

Can't complain being a Cat 5 Hurricane nearly took this place to Atlantis under the sea. Natasha is the community manager and has been great since I moved here a few days after the Hurricane (Harvey). The Hurricane damaged the leasing office and the lounge along with the fitness center and the card machine (to which to need for laundry). I didn't have a card and last week I was told I can go to the apt. community next door to get a Laundry Card. I just took my stuff to the laundry mat a few minutes away. I am pleased with my apt. I had one issue with a cabinet door and it was fixed in a few days. I figured it would have taken longer, but was pleased it didn't. I moved here from Los Angeles and I am happy I chose Silverado as my first place here in Houston. The community is quiet and I know people say parking is a mess. I think that only applies to the very front of the complex. I am half way to the back and nearly park in the same spot everyday, if for no other reason but its available.

My main dislike is one of the staff members, Claudia. She seems impatient and careless, basically like she hates her job. Talks to people likd they're stupid in response to their question.. other than that apartments are great for the price, beats other in memorial area.

They have one good and respectful maintenance man. Other than in front, the landscaping and trees have been damaged badly. A yard that used to get watered has been ignored, grass that was there was sheared off to ground level killing it off turning it into a dustbowl when it's dry and a mud hole when it's wet. Shrubs have been turned into twigs with leaves on top, beautiful ferns turned into little balls of green. A few years ago, painters killed four trees pouring paint residue at their bases. One fell over because the drainage was blocked by a new fence. Another was removed because someone poured chemical waste at it's roots. They just turned beautiful tree'd foliage all over the place into tree stumps 25 feet up, Tree number 7 is now dead. If they don't like trees, what are they doing here? This part of town is a forest. They removed a fence that allowed a view of a pond and fountain and replaced it with a 10 foot wall that blocks the view. No reason to walk back there anymore. Good neighbors, usually quiet.
