I've lived here for two years and I'll say its a nice place to stay, I haven't had any major complaints since I've been here. It's clean, mostly quiet, maintainance is prompt and management is ok. The only negative for me is that there is no covered parking or garages, apart from that, it is a very nice place to be.

Suprised with some of the reviews I read this is the 2nd time I have lived on here. Have told my friends to live here. CITY OF HOUSTON SHUT THE WATER OFF FOR REPAIRS AND WHEN I CALLED AND TALKED WITH LAURIE SHE EXPLAINED THAT A WATER LINE HAD BROKE IN THE AREA. My neighbor has been here over 10yrs and we both agree this is a good property to be on.

I AM writing now and a horrible noise (radio or TV Noises ..drum..drum..drum ) comming from the apt upstair and I know its gonna continue all the night till the morning and I wont be able to sleep tonight as usual!! I have reported that 3 times and the management told me they will do something against that but nothing happened!! I couldnot wait to leave this horrible place after 2 weeks!! Also this place is not secured my car was broken (with 6 others cars) and has been stolen and I heard from the other residents that have happened many times before!!sometimes we stay without water for 2 days and.. there are roaches too.. I COULD NOT WAIT TO GET OUT OF THIS PLACE!!

I've live here since april 2011. The property is alway clean also is a super quite property, the maintenance service is excellent. Thank you, Whittfield apartment for your great service!!

this is the worst place you can live or will want to live.Stayed for two days without water in the whole Apartment,called the office and they insulted me.Wont advise anyone to live here

Been here for only a month, but thought I'd give my 2 cents. If anything changes I will let you know. However so far so good. It's an apartment so you can expect some noises from neighbors, etc. But overall it's quiet, parking is good for us, units are old and out dated, but for the money it's worth it. The only downside is that the $30 per month W/D which is REALLY Small. Can't even wash one good load so it take a long time. Considering using the washteria (spelling?). Oh and wish there were cable outlets in bedrooms. Only in Living area. Despite that - would recommend thus far.

I've lived here since Oct 2009. I have loved it here. The only reason I'm moving is to live closer to my new job. I can't find anything comparable on the side of town where my job is. These apartments are well maintained. The gate has worked fine for 8 of the 10 months I've been here. The Police have responded to domestic violence and a robbery, but come on folks, this is Houston. You can't find a place with NO crime. The management responds quickly to needed repairs. I would sign another lease here if I didn't hate driving so far in Houston traffic 5 days a week.

It seems many people have had a lot of negative things to say but i moved in 2 days ago and everything has been wonderful. The staff is great, my apartment was the cleanest of any apartment I have ever moved in to (and I have moved into what are called "luxury" apartments). The neighbors are quiet and very nice. Of course there are some people across the street that are not as great and that can be a bit irritating, but you get that almost anywhere in Houston living in an apartment. And for the price, you have to know that some negative things are going to happen from time to time. So far, I am very happy to call this place my home :)

I am so glad I moved out. Crime is really bad and the apartments are not taken care of very well. The office can't keep any employees and I guess its because of the crazy Manager. Oh and yea, I felt so uncomfortable every time the Maintenance Manager, Bob would be walking property. He has wondering eyes and has a female I never felt safe around him. I have heard the same from some of the other residents. Whoever owns this place needs look in their own back yard about why residents are unhappy.

DON'T BOTHER!!!! LOOK elsewhere. There have been car break-ins during the early part of this year and I guess it didn't help any that the front gate has been consistently out of service. A man was stabbed to death and died on the property. Management isn't renter friendly.....I guess because most of us who are residents here are minorities. Please don't give this place a second look like I did. Don't get suckered in because of the free cable!!! It's basic!
