She has been available for any questions or concerns whenever I come by or call and always keep a smile on her face which is a plus. Also, I can honestly say all the ladies in the office is very pleasant guess that's why I've been a resident here for about 13 years. Thank you ladies for always being welcoming!!! This was my first stop as I'm looking for a new spot while I finish school and I absolutely loved the intake process. I haven't applied yet, but the beautiful Ms. Karen took her time and made me feel more than welcomed. As we walked and she was showing me be the different units, we had actual conversation I enjoyed. She made the touring process extremely plesant. She's truly a wonderful individual. When I do decide to apply and move in, I hope she works there through my time as a resident. Absolutely one of the best leasing agents I've and people I've had the pleasure of meeting! ??

I love this complex. I have been living here for five years and I have remained very happy and satisfied. Frank and the rest of the management and staff is always friendly and helpful. Maintenance is great and takes good care of the apartments inside and out. I've felt very safe throughout my years living here and look forward to the years to come.

The apartments are nice compared to the area but the space is extremely small. The staff is very nice when you first move there but after that it's like hell. Since I've been living there the staff has changed at least 10 times. The only person that has been in there since I've been staying in the complex is the guy with the initial "F". He can be an jacka** most of the time. The staff is rude and act as if you ask them for anything it kills them. They charge for everything. They look for a reason to jack your rent up. You can't have anything on the patio unless patio furniture; anything else you would be charged $25.00 per day. My kids had a ball outside on the patio and I was asked to move it or be charged $25.00. Parking is horrible. You have people who don't live in the apartment parking where tenants should be. You have tenants who has 3 cars but they take up all the extra space. The apartment complex doesn't say anything except for you can get a reserved parking spot for $25.00. The office favorite amount to charge is $25.00-$50.00 which I believe there pocketing it. I plan on contacting the HAA because I believe they are making up there own rules with the charges. I've read my lease agreement, I've looked at the list of fees and there's nothing listed about them charging what they want to charge. I also feel like the complex could be better with another set of staff.

I lived here for two years and when I moved out I cleaned the apartment from top to bottom. They STOLE my deposit and used the term "make ready charges". The staff are the nicest people in he world until you sign the lease. They are devils!!!!! Pease do not be deceived. The water is brown and the neighbors are ------. Your car may get broken into also!! The washateria is a hot mess.. Something is always broke. Keep looking pleeeeeeeeease!!!!! You'll thank me later.

I have been living at the Reserve on Bankside since mid Feb (of 2015) and it has been very good. Where I lived before was in a much nicer area but the apartments were HORRIBLE, especially for how much I paid. So let me run down the list of pluses I've found here that were not present in the other place... 1) Gate with card (or key) to enter. Only have seen it broken once or twice and it was during the evening, the next day when I came home from work, it was fixed. The door to enter (as a pedestrian) is card (or key) locked as well. 2) I have yet to see roaches inside of my apartment. I found ONE teeny tiny one right when I moved in and was cleaning and it was dead. I used to sleep restlessly at my old place because I could not go a couple of days without seeing at least one so this apartment, in that aspect has been a dream. You may one or two of the big roaches outside on warm evenings once in a blue, but its usually near the dumpster or the garbage cans near the mailboxes (understandable). 3) CLEAN! Soooooo clean, no garbage on the grass or parking lot (this I attribute to the dedicated maintenance staff and the fact that tenants are made to follow the no littering rules very closely which I LOVE.) As for the apartment itself? I had set aside a whole day to clean it before moving my stuff. I only need a few hours (I'm a cleaning freak) Quick vaccuum, wipe everything down and I was all set. The fridge was nice and white on the inside, tub was spotless, lightbulbs in all fixtures. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The model apt they showed me was a VERY good indicator of how great my apt was going to be (and is.) 4) The apt complex is pretty calm. While the area itself is not too good, once you're inside of the Reserve, you need not worry! Because of the fact that management is quite intolerant of bad tenants the people who live here are quite good. There are a lot of people with kids, young people who work for the hospital and go to school (so they are almost never around), older people and a few members of the Jewish community.Everyone is pretty quiet and keeps to themselves. On friday and saturday nights you may hear someone come home late at night, but usually all you hear is keys jingling and doors locking. No commotion. There's not much loitering at night, usually just someone outside having a quick smoke or sitting on their balcony with their phone. My cousin and I walked around the Reserve when she stayed over one evening at around 9:00pm and we, at no point, felt unsafe. 5) Maintenance is quick. I stumbled upon here while looking for the number to call them and they arrived halfway through my typing number 4!! The staff is nice (good mornings and stuff) and they are hard working (which is why the place is kept looking nice.) 6) Places of interest near here: WALKING DISTANCE(up to 30 min walk): Foodtown, laundromat, Fiesta, gas station, Wallgreens, Fitness Connection (the furthest), Library, Park, McDonalds. WITHIN QUICK DRIVING: Bank of America, Memorial Hermann SW, Walmart, Specs and many others I can't call to mind at the moment. In short, don't let the bad-ish area fool you, the apartments are great (especially for the price.) The reserve has put to rest many worries and downright fears I developed at my old apartment. I come from a small town and city living has been a stress for me in many ways (especially in finding a calm and quiet place to live) but the Reserve and its staff have done a great job at making a safe and pleasant environment to come home to. It's not perfect, no place is, and you may see someone do something they should not, but trust me, that person won't last long. I advise anyone who is willing to follow the rules of common courtesy to come by and give these apartments a look-see. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!!! (Rent estimate given includes rent itself and what I pay on utilities)

My experience was going great until this morning. I had an issue with my apartment. I called the office at 9 am and explained to the lady what happen...she had a smart additude and i could hear laughter in her voice.she was not helpfull very rude.and this is the same lady who was rude to my roomate when we first moved in.....everyone is nice and helpfull....but the lady that was working in the office 11/20/14 at 9 am is rude and the complex will get bad reviews because if people like her.

My experience in The Reserve at Bankside has been very interesting. I moved here because it was kind of a last option for me being a university student, and left my ex apts (which were suppose to be in a great, fancy area) because of serious mold in closet, that got in my clothe and shoes, bad staff, break in. The irony of it was that I was scared of moving in here because this is Fondren, I couldn't sleep on my first night. But lo and behold, these apartments are great! Staff is professional, caring and friendly, maintenance are quick to care for any issues in your apt, apartment looks very well maintained, and the most important to me is security, it's quiet, safe, it's rare to hear noise. I mean I did have some neighbors that would create problems, but were evicted. Once you see kids playing and running outside, people coming from work in their scrubs, suits, that shows you people feel comfortable and safe living here. And that's for me majoring in the medical field. I even had friends who the whole time have lived in upscale areas and thought it was very nice in here! So keep doing what you're doing!
